Tagged Container Tracking
A system and method that automatically monitors product use, such as the type and amount of agricultural and/or horticultural product stored in and dispensed from a cartridge over time and/or by geographic location. Monitored data are stored in memory such as a tag on the cartridge and may be transmitted to a server for storage, aggregation, and analysis. The cartridge may be authenticated before being authorized for use for the benefit of a current user in dispensing the product. The cartridge may be refilled after confirmation of authorization codes on the cartridge and refilling equipment tags. The cartridge may be calibrated automatically based on the bulk density or other parameter of the product in the cartridge. Data may be aggregated from a plurality of cartridges automatically. As-applied data from individual cartridges may be used to verify, independent of operator input, treated area coverage and product application rate.

Pneumatic conveying system for an agricultural product applicator
The invention provides a pneumatic conveying system for an agricultural product applicator, which system comprises multiple fans configured to serve separate boom sections of the applicator to more efficiently conduct airflow with respect to each section. In aspects of the invention, multiple centrifugal fans of the same or similar size can be used, or multiple centrifugal fans of various sizes can be used, such as one or more larger fans and one or more smaller fans. Exemplar aspects could include three small or medium sized centrifugal fans, four small or medium sized centrifugal fans, and five small or medium sized centrifugal fans, thereby allowing the system to raise outlet air pressure at an elevated flow. Another aspect of the invention could include configuring one fan to supercharge another fan, in series, also allowing the system to raise outlet air pressure at an elevated flow.
REAL TIME CONTROL OF PRECISION FLUID DELIVERY
Various embodiments of an apparatus, methods, systems and computer program products described herein are directed to an agricultural observation and treatment system and method of operation. The system uses a pump in combination with a fluid regulator to obtain and disperse fluid from the fluid tanks. The fluid regulator includes a fluid input port, a fluid output port and a fluid control valve. A first tube fluidly coupled from the fluid pump to the fluid input port. The system includes a moveable treatment head having one or more spraying tips, including a first spraying tip. A second tube is fluidly coupled from the fluid output port to the moveable treatment head. A system includes a controller configured to provide to the fluid regulator to open and close the fluid control valve to release an amount of the first fluid.
GROUND MARKING CONTROL FOR GROUND TREATMENT VEHICLE AND METHOD OF OPERATING SAME
A ground treatment vehicle, and system thereof, having a treating reservoir configured to hold a ground treating material and a treating material delivery system configured to deliver the treating material to a ground surface. The vehicle also having a marker reservoir for holding a marking fluid and a marker system configured to deliver the marking fluid to the ground surface. The vehicle also including a treating material control having a first treating setting in which treating material delivery system is enabled and a second treating setting in which treating material delivery system is disabled. The vehicle also including a marker fluid control having a first marker setting in which the marker system is enabled, a second marker setting in which the marker system disabled, and a third marker setting in which the marker system matches the treating material delivery system.
Method of Applying Powder to Kill Insects
A method of improving the performance of a powder dusting tip delivering powdered diatomaceous earth powder minimizing clogging in powder bulb duster tips through the use of tips with a more free flowing configuration and different spray patterns than the standard tip assembly and a flexible one piece powder dusting tube, which is attached to the tips which connects to reservoir of powder type insect repellents such as diatomaceous earth pesticides, boric acid pesticides, sevin based insecticides, deltamethrin based insecticides, and permethrin based insecticides as well as other powdered insecticides through threaded connections, made from flexible rubber tubing supported by memory wire that allows the powder duster tip to be positioned for hard to reach areas.

Method and Apparatus Used for Biological Control of Agricultural Pests
An apparatus for biological control of agricultural pests and for reducing damage to crops. The apparatus includes a container for holding biological organisms or material. The container also includes first and second ends and an opening formed at the first end for receiving the biological organisms. The apparatus has a dispensing port disposed at the second end for dispensing the biological organisms over a target location. The apparatus further includes an auger, driven by a motor and having a plurality of spiral like wire brushes, said auger mounted to and driven by a first motor; a spreader motor mount having a motor mount holding area for holding a second motor, the spreader motor mount having a motor mount connection area for connecting to the second end; and a spreader agitating device used for spreading the biological organisms or material over the target location.
Sectional control for air boom spreader
A product distribution system for sectional control in an air boom spreader has a solid product metering assembly having: a first endless conveyor and a second endless conveyor for conveying the product from the container to the air system, the first and second endless conveyors substantially parallel to each other, the first conveyor driven independently of the second conveyor; and, a first shaft, a second shaft and a third shaft, the first shaft parallel to, separated from and driven independently of the second shaft, the second shaft parallel to and separated from the third shaft, the first shaft driving the first conveyor, the second shaft driving the third shaft to drive the second conveyor.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR OBTAINING A SAMPLE OF DRY PRODUCT FROM A RECEPTACLE
A sampling system and method are used for extracting a sample of dry product from a receptacle. An extraction tube having a perforated portion is disposed in a product storage volume of the receptacle. A pressurized air source is connected to a first end of the extraction tube. A sample collection device is located outside of the receptacle and serves to separate the sample from an airflow driven by the pressurized air source. An inlet of the sample collection device is connected to a second end of the extraction tube. A sample outlet is adapted to dispense the sample, and an air outlet is provided for venting pressurized air.
