A portable sterilizer according to an embodiment of the present application is capable of spraying ultra-fine chemicals, and includes a housing in which a space is formed and an injection nozzle is provided at a front end thereof, a chemical tank provided on one side of the space of the housing, a chemical feed pipe formed between the chemical tank and the injection nozzle, and a water pump which is installed on one side of the chemical supply pipe to supply the chemical to the injection nozzle through the chemical supply pipe.

Systems and methods for post-harvest crop quality management

Embodiments of systems and approaches for managing post-harvest crop quality and pests are described. Such a system may include a plurality of edge devices each comprising sensor components and collectively forming a mesh network, for measuring the local physical environment within stored crops and, for example, transmitting the measurements to a service from within the crop storage area. In certain embodiments, such a system may be used to manage post-harvest crops and storage areas—for example, approaches are described for determining fumigation treatment duration, determining phosphine dosage, determining heat treatment duration, and determining safe storage time for crops.

The method further includes then maintaining a concentration of a fumigation agent within the containment volume for a required time to fumigate the material and then removing the fumigation agent from the containment volume.

Furthermore, said interwoven threads (2) may be housed inside a tube (3).

Thanks to this interwoven arrangement of the threads that make up the body, the oxygen between the threads facilitates combustion, without needing to use chemical components that stimulate combustion.

A non-tarp method can also be used through permanently buried drip tape (SDI) that is at least 8 inches deep and utilizes the soil above as the barrier to prevent the fumigant from escaping. The drip tape element is communicably connected through a throttle valve to a pressurized liquid supply of fumigant having a low boiling point and a high vapor pressure. The valve is opened to dispense vaporized fumigant into the soil and dissipation of the fumigant is controlled so that more effective soil fumigation is achieved.
