Method and apparatuses for cold plasma in agriculture
Methods and systems for generating a plasma-activated liquid or gas, and applying the plasma-activated liquid for agricultural use. A system embodiment includes a hand-held device that can be pointed and directed at different target areas of a plant. A method embodiment includes generating a plasma discharge in a gas environment or a liquid environment, and applying the gas/liquid to a plant.
GAS MONITORING DEVICE AND METHOD
The present invention relates to a gas monitoring device having a gas tight base unit containing a sensor. The base unit is detachably connected to an elongated hollow rod having a perforated tip end and a base unit connection end. The base unit comprises a sensor, a data processor, a telemetry unit, a battery with wireless charging and an internal on/off switch. The invention also relates to a method of monitoring the gas concentration within a fumigated commodity sample comprising inserting the tapered perforated end of a gas monitoring device into a commodity sample.

Method and System for Insect Eradication in Arecaceae Trees
A method and system for eradicating insects in palm trees (such as arecaceae) by means of a lower stem encasement embedded with fumigant. Said encasement comprised of a plastic, polymer sheet with internal, flexible foam lining. The lining having a plurality of apertures configured to receive a multitude of fumigants (such as aluminum phosphide tablets) therein. The invention being wrapped around the perimeter of the aforementioned palm tree and selectively affixed by means of adhesive strips and adjustable strapping on distal ends. While it is well-known that such insects respond well to fumigants, it is difficult to make contact with them in the center of a tree. An object of the invention is to impregnate an Arecacae tree with fumigants by means of a non-invasive fumigant wrap system.
INSECTICIDE DISPENSING DEVICE AND METHOD
Insecticide dispensing devices and methods of the present technology provide for the prolonged release of insecticide for the eradication of insect populations. Insecticide dispensing devices include an attractive toxic sugar bait, and have a housing configured with at least one aperture to allow a gaseous compound to exit the internal cavity and sized to allow entry of a target insect into the internal cavity. Methods of insecticide dispensing include activating the attractive toxic sugar bait in the device, and placing the activated device in an area where insects are present.
Fumigation vaporizer
Disclosed is a fumigation vaporizer capable of quickly vaporizing a fumigant, which is widely used in agriculture or quarantine to control insects or weeds, thereby safely and effectively carrying out fumigation, as compared to a conventional process. The fumigation vaporizer includes a housing, a fumigant supply pipe, a heater, a non-explosive gas supply member, a gas supply pipe, a vessel-type heater, a gas discharge pipe, and a controller. The housing is provided with a heating hollow portion at the lower portion of the inner cavity, in which the non-explosive gas heated and supplied by the vessel-type heater heats a bottom surface of the inner cavity while passing through the heating hollow portion. A bottom surface of the heating hollow portion is provided with an inlet port through which the non-explosive gas passes, and a top surface of the heating hollow portion opposite to the inlet portion is provided with an outlet port through which the non-explosive gas passing the heating hollow portion is supplied to the gas discharge pipe installed to the inner cavity.

Kit for air treatment of upholstered furniture and method of using such kit
A kit for extermination of pest animals in furniture and a method for using the kit are disclosed. A sheet is provided over upholstered furniture. The sheet may be provided with ballast at the edges for keeping the sheet more or less fixed. Heated air is forced underneath the sheet. The furniture is preferably provided with an air treatment module for forcing air through the upholstery like a mattress. This allows the heated air provided by the forced air supply to be provided to the upholstery via the inside, highly increasing efficiency of heat treatment of the furniture. A way of controlling temperature of air provided by the forced air supply is disclosed, as well as a way of controlling temperature of air actually within the spaced defined by the positioned sheet. The latter allows for improved control of maintaining a temperature at which for example bed bugs are killed.
