A method for generating a localized data map, the method including (a) traversing an area with a machine, the machine including at least one sensor, wherein the sensor is configured to receive data; (b) collecting data of the area utilizing the sensor; and (c) communicating the data to generate a localized data map. A system and method for generating a localized turf grass data map, the method including (a) traversing an area of turf grass with an outdoor power equipment machine, the outdoor power equipment machine including at least one sensor, wherein the sensor is configured to receive data; (b) collecting turf grass data utilizing the sensor; and (c) communicating the turf grass data to generate a localized turf grass data map.

AGRICULTURAL MACHINE WITH RESONANCE VIBRATION RESPONSE DETECTION
20200072809 · 2020-03-05 ·

An agricultural machine includes a vibration stimulation source configured to generate a vibration stimulation signal directed toward plant matter and a sensor system configured to sense electromagnetic radiation reflected from the plant matter, generate a first signal based on the sensed electromagnetic radiation, and generate a second signal indicative of a resonant vibration response of the plant matter, that is in response to the vibration stimulation signal. The agricultural machine includes a plant evaluation system configured to, based on the first and second signals, generate plant characterization data indicative of one or more physical characteristics of the plant matter, and a control system configured to generate an action signal based on the plant characterization data.

Embodiments of the inventive concept provide a portable organic entity termination applicator unit. The applicator unit can include an organic herbicide reservoir or can otherwise be an herbicideless applicator unit. The applicator unit can include an outer housing, a cold water supply line, an organic herbicide reservoir to hold organic herbicide, an herbicide adjustment valve for controlling a liquid mixture, a heater core to pre-heat the herbicide water liquid mixture, and a delivery pipe to expel the heated liquid. The applicator unit can include a fuel canister receptacle to receive a fuel canister. The heater core may heat the liquid using fuel stored in the fuel canister.

IDENTIFICATION OF BENEFICIAL INSECTS AND/OR POLLUTANTS IN A FIELD FOR CROP PLANTS
20200037596 · 2020-02-06 ·

The present invention relates to the identification of beneficial insects and/or harmful organisms in a field for crop plants.

The presence of a species in the field is captured by one or more sensors. One or a plurality of suggestions is/are generated as to which species it could be. Based on one or more models, the probability that the detected species could be a proposed species is calculated in each case. The site at which the species is detected, the detection time and preferably further parameters that affect the presence of the proposed species in the field are included in a model. The expressive capacity of the sensor or sensors is increased by means of the modeling.
