A remote notification electronic rodent trapping system and method is provided having a plurality of rearming electronic rodent trapping devices configured to wirelessly communicate trap information to a base station that is in communication with a cloud server. When a trap is activated by a rodent trigger it changes from a set state to a kill alert state and initiates a killing cycle. The trap waits a first time period and then sends a notification signal to the base station of trap activation which the base station forwards to the cloud server. The cloud server waits a second predetermined time period before sending a pushed notification to a remote user of the trap's kill alert state. If the trap rearms prior to expiration of the second time period, it alerts the base station which notifies the cloud server. The cloud server updates trap status to the set state and does not send a notification to the user.

The present disclosure relates to a drop-style trap door for use in connection with trapping an animal. The trap door according to the present disclosure may comprise an outer frame, a gate positioned adjacent to the outer frame and having a plurality of slide tubes capable of vertically translating along the outer frame, and a spring-loaded mechanism coupled to the outer frame for receiving at least one of the plurality of slide tubes and securing the gate in a closed position.

The present disclosure relates to a drop-style trap door for use in connection with trapping an animal. A bait station for use with trapping rodents, including a housing, a ballast located within a base of the housing to inhibit movement of the bait station, at least one rodent trap retention area located above the ballast, and at least one rodent access to an interior of the housing though a side panel of the base at a height greater than that of the ballast. The bait station may include a removable tray disposed above the ballast that includes the rodent trap retention area to facilitate rodent removal and cleaning. Opposing first and second rodent access openings may be located on opposite side walls of the base to facilitate rodent entry from multiple directions.

A bait station for use with trapping rodents, including a housing, a ballast located within a base of the housing to inhibit movement of the bait station, at least one rodent trap retention area located above the ballast, and at least one rodent access to an interior of the housing though a side panel of the base at a height greater than that of the ballast. The bait station may include a removable tray disposed above the ballast that includes the rodent trap retention area to facilitate rodent removal and cleaning. I disclose an apparatus, comprising at least one sensor configured to receive at least one signal indicative of a proximity of a first animal, at least one environmental signal, or both; a processor configured to detect a sufficient proximity of the first animal, a favorable environmental condition, or both from the received signal or signals, and emit a triggering signal in response to the detection; and an audio playback device configured to receive the triggering signal and emit a call of a second animal in response to the triggering signal. I also disclose a system comprising the apparatus and a trap; and a method of luring an animal.

I disclose an apparatus, comprising at least one sensor configured to receive at least one signal indicative of a proximity of a first animal, at least one environmental signal, or both; a processor configured to detect a sufficient proximity of the first animal, a favorable environmental condition, or both from the received signal or signals, and emit a triggering signal in response to the detection; and an audio playback device configured to receive the triggering signal and emit a call of a second animal in response to the triggering signal. I also disclose a system comprising the apparatus and a trap; and a method of luring an animal.

A glue trap includes a tray and a multiuse handle that is integral to the tray, and is a unitary, one-piece construction with the tray. In an alternate embodiment, the trap includes an attached movable handle. Moreover, the handle can be used to strike the glue trap and a captured crawling pest against a hard surface in a method to humanely euthanize the pest before disposing of it.

A trap for rodents includes a platform; a spring mounted on the platform; a hammer connected to the spring; a bar placed to hold the hammer in cocked position; a trigger; and an adhesive placed on a surface of the trigger. When subject to force, the trigger releases the bar, causing the hammer to swing down rapidly. The adhesive may be placed on the top surface of the trigger. The adhesive may also be placed on a surface of at least one opening in the trigger. The adhesive may be covered by a backing.
