SHEET FOR THREE-DIMENSIONAL MOLDING
The present invention provides a sheet for three-dimensional molding, said sheet having excellent scratch resistance and moldability and effectively suppressing interference fringes. Provided is a sheet for three-dimensional molding, said sheet having at least a surface protection layer laminated upon a substrate, wherein the surface protection layer is formed from a cured product of a resin composition that includes an ionizing radiation-curable resin and inorganic particles having an average particle size of 100 nm or more, and the content of the inorganic particles in the surface protection layer is 40 mass % or more.
PRESSED PRODUCTS MADE OF A CROSSLINKABLE MATERIAL, METHOD FOR THE PRODUCTION AND FURTHER PROCESSING THEREOF TO PRODUCE ELASTOMER-BASED MOULDED BODIES
Compacts synthesized by cross-linkable material based on an elastomer-containing powder or pelletized material and a method for producing these compacts show a very good suitability in the further processing of these compacts to form crosslinked elastomer compounds and shaped bodies and for the substitution of raw rubber or raw rubber-containing compositions.
SELF-REINFORCING THERMOPLASTIC COMPOSITE MATERIALS, AND METHODS OF MANUFACTURING SELF-REINFORCING THERMOPLASTIC COMPOSITE MATERIALS
A thermoplastic composite elongate extrudate having a thermoplastic polymer matrix material with a plurality of elongate thermoplastic liquid crystal polymer fibrils generally aligned with the direction of extrusion. A method of making a thermoplastic composite includes mixing a thermoplastic polymer matrix material and a thermoplastic liquid crystal polymer, where the viscosity of the thermoplastic polymer matrix material is sufficiently greater than the viscosity of the thermoplastic liquid crystal polymer, and extruding the mixture to create a composite elongate extrudate comprising a thermoplastic polymer matrix material with a plurality of elongate thermoplastic liquid crystal polymer fibrils generally aligned with the direction of extrusion.
SILICON-DOMINANT BATTERY ELECTRODES
Methods of forming a composite material film can include providing a mixture comprising a carbon precursor and silicon particles. The methods can also include pyrolysing the carbon precursor to convert the precursor into one or more types of carbon phases to form the composite material film such that the precursor has a char yield of greater than about 0% to about 60% and the composite material film comprises the silicon particles at about 90% to about 99% by weight.
ADDITIVE MANUFACTURING OF DENTAL PROSTHESES
Modeling material formulations usable in additive manufacturing of a denture structure, and additive manufacturing methods employing same are provided. Kits comprising the modeling material formulation, optionally in combination with a support material formulation, are also provided.
