Rodent capturing system
10383325 · 2019-08-20 ·

A rodent capturing system includes a bucket that may be positioned on a support surface. A fluid is contained in the bucket and the fluid is comprised of a toxic material with respect to rodents. A pair of ramps is provided and each of the ramps extends between the bucket and the support surface thereby facilitating a rodent to climb the ramps. A lure is rotatably coupled to the bucket. The rodent climbs on the lure thereby facilitating the lure to drop the rodent into the fluid. In this way the fluid kills the rodent.

ACARICIDE HETERODISSEMINATION BY SMALL MAMMALS

In a novel method and composition of heterodissemination technology, small mammals attracted to a food bait in a dissemination station acquire electrostatically charged acaricide laden microspheres that can he polymeric nano-porous microspheres loaded with one or more chemical acaricides, or calcium or sodium alginate microspheres that encapsulate an entomopathogen. Microspheres loaded with either type of acaricide kill ticks on the small mammals that acquire them, and when shed along small mammal pathways and in their dens, they also kill free-living ticks.

A rodent bait station comprises a housing defining at least one entrance, a bait holding area arranged within the housing for storing a quantity of rodent bait for consumption, and an electronics assembly. The electronics assembly includes a capacitor arranged proximate the bait holding area and having a characteristic capacitance indicative of the quantity of bait in the bait holding area, and a controller for measuring the characteristic capacitance of the capacitor. A processor of the electronics assembly estimates a quantity of bait in the bait holding area according to the measured characteristic capacitance, and transmits via a transmitter a wireless signal indicative of one of the measured characteristic capacitance or the estimated quantity of bait in the bait holding area.

BAIT COMPOSITION

Disclosed herein are embodiments of a feral hog control system including bait comprising a carrier material and an amount of warfarin, wherein the amount of warfarin is not greater than about 0.01% by weight of the bait. Further disclosed herein are embodiments of a selective access device for permitting selective access to the bait when the bait is disposed within a feeder.

APPARATUS FOR COUPLING AND EMITTING LIGHT AND MATERIAL

Disclosed is a light-material coupling and emitting apparatus for coupling and emitting light and a material. The present disclosure is to utilize light coupled with a gaseous material or a certain state of material. According to the present disclosure, light is coupled with a gas, a liquid, or any state (plasma state) of material, and the coupled light and the material are emitted toward a target object or a predetermined region. When reaching the target object or the predetermined region, the material reacts with another material existing around the target object or the predetermined region. According to one embodiment, when light coupled with a first material is emitted from the light-material coupling and emitting apparatus, the first material coupled with the light falls away from the light and then chemically reacts with a second material. The apparatus uses a specific effect caused by this chemical reaction.

Internal ballastable rodent bait station

A rodent bait station has a base with a hinged cover which is lockable to the base to define an interior volume which can receive a ballast weight of three to twenty-four pounds which biases a floor of the base against a support surface. At least one rodent access opening in the bait station allows a rodent to pass into the interior volume. A bait or a rodent trap is positioned within the interior volume such that a rodent can move freely within the interior volume so as to access the bait or rodent trap.

Bait station for pest control
10357027 · 2019-07-23 · ·

A bait station for pest control is provided that comprises an enclosure. The enclosure defines an access chamber that includes an entry port for entry of a pest therein, and a bait chamber that holds a bait product harmful to a pest. A partition section separates the access chamber and the bait chamber. A closure element is associated with the access port and is moveable between a first position covering the access port, and a second position exposing the access port. A detector arrangement outputs a signal indicative of presence or otherwise of a pest in the access chamber. A controller receives the signal and records a pest activity event. The controller moves the closure element to the second position to open an access port between the access chamber and the bait chamber when a number of recorded pest activity events are at least equal to a predetermined number.
