A thermoforming device includes: an upper hot plate including a first heating surface configured to heat a sheet from above; a lower hot plate including a second heating surface configured to heat the sheet from below; and a substrate-supplying unit including a base configured to hold a molded substrate, and configured to attach the molded substrate to and detach the molded substrate from the base and to dispose the molded substrate at a molding position below the first heating surface with the sheet interposed therebetween, in which the upper hot plate and the lower hot plate are configured to heat the sheet simultaneously from an upper surface and a lower surface of the sheet, the lower hot plate is provided to be movable in a horizontal direction with respect to a position below the upper hot plate, and the thermoforming device die-molds or adheres, onto the molded substrate held by the base, the sheet softened by being heated by the upper hot plate and the lower hot plate.

Stabilizing a deformable fabric using an elastic nonwoven web
A process for producing a stable fabric comprising: 1) providing a first fabric formed from reinforcing fibers, 2) providing an elastic nonwoven web produced from elastic fibers, having softening temperature lower than said reinforcing fibers, on at least 1 one side of said first fabric to form a structure, 3) heating said structure to a temperature between the softening temperature and melting temperature of said nonwoven web, and 4) cooling said structure to thereby provide a stable two-dimensional fabric. In the preferred embodiment, the structure of step 2) is put into a mold prior to heating step 3), heating said structure in the mold according to step 3), cooling said structure in the mold according to step 4) and thereby providing a three-dimensional shaped article. A product is also provided produced by these processes.
PROCESS FOR INCREASING HYDROPHOBICITY OF ARTICLES MADE OF POLYOLEFINS
The disclosure provides a process for treatment of an article (1) made of a polymer composition; comprising the steps of providing an article (1) with a surface, the article being made of a polymer composition comprising one or more polyolefins; providing one or more texturing solvents (3, 5, 7, 9) selected from one or more vegetable oils, one or more terpenes, one or more alkanes and any combination thereof; wherein the one or more texturing solvents (3, 5, 7, 9) are further selected to have a boiling point which is above the crystallisation temperature Tc of the one or more polyolefins and to be devoid of a halogenated atom and/or an aromatic group; contacting the surface of the article (1) with the one or more texturing solvents (3, 5, 7, 9); and recovering an article with a textured N surface with water contact angle following ISO 19403-6:2017 that is increased by comparison to the initial water contact angle.
Process for increasing hydrophobicity of articles made of polyolefins

TRIM COMPONENT FOR VEHICLE INTERIOR
A trim component for vehicle interior is disclosed. A method for forming the trim component is also disclosed. The trim component comprises a cover material, a base layer, a foamed plastic, and a support element. The base layer is intended to prevent foamed plastic from penetrating into the pores of the cover material. Foamed plastic is injected between the base layer and the support element to form the trim component. The method comprises the steps of producing a base layer, applying and fixing at least part of the cover material to the base layer to form a pre-laminate, introducing the pre-laminate into a foaming mold with the base layer between the cover material and a foam chamber (between the pre-laminate and the support element) within a foaming mold and introducing foamed plastic into the foam chamber to form the trim component.
