CUSHION FOR POSITIONING PATIENTS AND METHOD FOR MAKING IT
A cushion for positioning patients, including an outer cover, in which there is a bag, equipped with two separate compartments, which contain two components suitable for mixing with each other to form a polyurethane foam. The outer cover includes an outer surface made of non-woven fabric and an inner surface made of polymeric material, in such a way as to allow sealing of the outline of the outer cover, guaranteeing the impermeability of the cushion.
Seat back of hybrid construction and a process for forming a seat back of hybrid construction
An overmolded seat back structure having a connecting surface for supporting a support panel and a process for forming a seat back structure via an overmolding process.
SEAT FOR VEHICLES
A seat for vehicles including a seat cushion, a seat back, and a head rest has the following arrangement to ensure that a surface member can be relatively easily but positively removed from a urethane pad if a foam molding defect is found in the urethane pad in integral molding of the urethane pad and the surface member. In the seat for vehicles, any one of the seat cushion, seat back, and head rest has a configuration where a surface of the urethane pad is covered with the surface member. The urethane pad and the surface member are partially bonded together by integral molding.
SUPPORT WITH ANTIBACTERIAL LAYER AND LAMINATE
Provided are a support with an antibacterial layer, which exhibits excellent followability with respect to a curved surface and in which peeling does not easily occur between a support and an antibacterial layer even though the support with an antibacterial layer is bonded to a curved surface, and a laminate including the support with an antibacterial layer.
The support with an antibacterial layer of the present invention includes a support and an antibacterial layer disposed in at least a portion on the support, in which the support contains a urethane resin, and the antibacterial layer contains a hydrophilic polymer and an antibacterial agent.
Transfer Sheet, Decorative Sheet, and Decorative Article
A transfer sheet includes, on a base sheet, at least a release layer containing particles and having a surface roughness Ra of 0.15 to 1.0 m, a protective layer containing an ionizing radiation-curable urethane resin and having a Martens hardness of 2.0 to 40.0 N/mm.sup.2, and the adhesive layer containing an acrylic resin, that are laminated in this order. A decorative sheet is formed by transferring the transfer sheet on a support sheet. A decorative article is a resin molded article decorated by using the transfer sheet or the decorative sheet.
METHODS FOR MANUFACTURING PRE-FABRICATED INSULATED FOAM WALL STRUCTURES WITH HIGH RACKING STRENGTH AND RELATED PRE-FABRICATED WALL STRUCTURES
Methods of manufacturing wall structures having high racking strength are described in this specification. The methods include spray applying a foam-forming composition into a cavity of a wall structure, wherein the wall structure is disposed in a climate-controlled spray application station and allowing the foam-forming material to expand within at least a portion of the cavity to form a foam layer deposited in the cavity. In the methods, the foam layer is formed in-situ during the manufacturing method, and the density of the foam layer is selected and the relative humidity and dew point of the air in the climate-controlled spray application station throughout the spray applying is selected so that the wall structure has a racking strength of at least 500 pounds per linear foot.
METHODS FOR MANUFACTURING CUSHIONING ELEMENTS FOR SPORTS APPAREL
Methods for manufacturing cushioning elements for sports apparel are described. A method is provided for manufacturing a cushioning element for sports apparel from randomly arranged particles of an expanded material. The method includes positioning a functional element within a mold and loading the mold with the particles of the expanded material, wherein the loading occurs through at least two openings within the mold and/or wherein the loading occurs between different movable parts of the mold.
Fluid-filled chamber for an article of footwear
A fluid-filled chamber is provided and includes a first barrier layer, a second barrier layer, a foam structure, and a tensile member. The second barrier layer is secured to the first barrier layer to define an interior void between the first barrier layer and the second barrier layer. The interior void contains a predetermined volume of fluid. The foam structure and the tensile member are disposed within the interior void, whereby the tensile member includes a plurality of fibers extending in a first direction between the first barrier layer and the second barrier layer.
MOLD FOR GOLF BALLS
A mold for a golf ball can include a pair of mold halves. Each mold half can have a cavity face including a plurality of pimples. The cavity face can have a low-latitude zone and a high-latitude zone. The low-latitude zone can include a low-latitude base surface having an inner diameter larger than that of a phantom sphere of a cavity. The high-latitude zone can include a high-latitude base surface having an inner diameter equal to that of the phantom sphere. Each pimple can protrude from the low-latitude base surface or the high-latitude base surface. A pimple that intersects an equator plane of the phantom sphere or is proximal to the equator plane can protrude partially or entirely from the low-latitude base surface.
Vehicle interior material and manufacturing method therefor
Provided is a vehicle interior material comprising coating layers formed on both surfaces of a veneer layer; a back layer on the coating layer of one surface of the veneer layer; and a front layer on the coating layer of the other surface of the veneer layer. Provided is a method of manufacturing a vehicle interior material comprising steps of: providing a veneer layer; forming coating layers on both surfaces of the veneer layer by applying and drying water-dispersible polyurethane dispersion or water-dispersible acrylic polyurethane dispersion on the both surfaces; pre-forming a real wood film layer prepared by forming the coating layers on the both surfaces of the veneer layer; forming a back layer on the coating layer of one surface of the veneer layer by primary insert molding; and forming a front layer on the coating layer of the other surface of the veneer layer by secondary insert molding.
