PEST CONTROL SYSTEM AND METHOD OF OPERATING SAME
A pest control device comprising a capacitive sensor array including a plurality of sensor pads, the capacitive sensor array being configured to generate an electrical output signal indicating the state of each sensor pad, and an electronic controller electrically connected to the capacitive sensor array, the electronic controller including a processor and a memory including a plurality of instructions, which, when executed by the processor, causes the processor to: receive the electrical output signals from the capacitive sensor array, determine a measured capacitance value for each sensor pad based on each electrical output signal, calculate a baseline for each sensor pad based on the measured capacitance value of the sensor pad, determine whether a difference between the measured capacitance value of at least one sensor pad and its corresponding baseline exceeds a first predetermined threshold, update a counter when the first predetermined threshold is exceeded, and record an event indicative of a presence of a pest when the counter exceeds a predetermined limit.
GAME COLLECTION AND RETENTION SYSTEM AND APPARATUS
A game collection and retention apparatus includes a pole and a first plate. The pole includes a stabilizing portion and a support portion, wherein the stabilizing portion is configured to stabilize the game collection and retention apparatus in a substantially upright position. The first plate is positioned along the support portion of the pole and includes comprising a plurality of teeth around a perimeter thereof, wherein the plurality of teeth at least partially define one or more notches.
Game Call
The present disclosure is directed to a game call that can be used to attract, mimic, or communicate with game animals. The game call comprises a plurality of components including an insulating component comprising heat insulating properties. The insulating component is disposed in a location on the game call that provides insulation, in particular, to critical components located in interior portions of the game call. The insulating part may provide insulation to interior parts of the game call including reeds and other critical interior parts of the game call.
SYSTEM AND METHODS FOR AUTOMATED WILDLIFE DETECTION, MONITORING AND CONTROL
The present disclosure describes a system which is able to detect and recognize wildlife, and in particular birds, using camera images. The present solution is comprised of algorithms, software and integrated hardware devices. Properly equipped, the system can be made to be portable and can be set up at any location for different wildlife detection and repelling purposes.
Multi-containment Large Animal Trap
A trap for large animals. The system utilizes multi-containment areas for improved efficiency in herd animal trapping. The outer containment zone of the system is designed in such a way to promote animals further into the inner containment zone. The improved efficiency lowers overall cost of trap operation in terms of time, consumable bait replenishment and number of attempts on target animal groups. The system allows for independent and remote actuation of containment zone gates. Data is transmitted to a remote user and remote actuation of attracting or deterring audio can be done during trapping process. The architecture of the trap dissuades animals capable of jumping from doing so over the containment walls.
Pot Call Having Separate Sound Chambers
A pot call for producing turkey sounds includes: having separate sound chambers, having a top pot shape on the top, a top open end, a top side wall, a top closed end, a top sound hole aperture or a plurality of top sound hole apertures, having the top open end covered by a top playing surface forming a top sound chamber; and having a bottom pot shape on the bottom, a bottom open end, a bottom side wall, a bottom closed end, a bottom sound hole aperture or a plurality of bottom sound hole apertures, having the bottom open end covered by a bottom playing surface forming a bottom sound chamber. In use a striker is dragged across either the top playing surface or the bottom playing surface creating a turkey sound.
Automatic animal detection and deterrent system
This disclosure provides a method of detecting and deterring a target animal from a target area. A target area is positioned within the field of vision of a video camera connected to a computer processing system. An animal identification computer program using convolution neural networks and deep learning computer programs and camera images rapidly detects a target animal. The animal identification computer program is trained to identify target animals accurately using a learning algorithm and related machine learning technology. The time to deploy a deterrent against a target animal from the instant of detection is 2 seconds or less so that little or no time is available to the target animal to damage the target area.
BED MOUNTED WINCH AND RAMP
A tailgate assembly is provided for a cargo bed having a bottom wall and a front, left and right side walls. An opening is defined between the left and right side walls, and the bottom wall. The tailgate assembly includes a first panel and a second panel. The first panel is pivotally connected to the bottom wall. The first panel is pivotable between a cargo-retaining position and an unfolded position with respect to the bottom wall. In the cargo-retaining position, the first panel closes the opening. The second panel is pivotally connected to the first panel. The second panel is pivotable between a folded position and a ramp position. In the folded position, the first panel and the second panel are substantially parallel to one another and in the ramp position the first and second panels extend from one another at an angle greater than ninety degrees.
Game animal feeder chute assembly
A deer feeder chute assembly is provided. The device may include a baseplate that may be attached to an aftermarket barrel or other container for holding animal feed. The baseplate may include a feed chute which may include a flange at one end for attachment to a chute opening in the baseplate. The flange and baseplate may include mounting apertures that cooperate with fasteners to attach the feed chute to the baseplate. A wall of the feed container may be interposable between the flange and the baseplate thereby attaching the chute assembly to the feed container. Openings may be made in the wall of the feed container to allow feed to communicate with the feed chute.
