POLYALKYLENE TEREPHTHALATE RESIN COMPOSITION
Disclosed are: a polyalkylene terephthalate resin composition comprising (A) a polyalkylene terephthalate resin and (B) an acrylic-based core-shell polymer which has an average particle size of 2 μm or greater and in which an amount of the core layer component is more than 80% by mass but less than 100% by mass relative to a total mass of the core layer component and a shell layer component; and a molded article which is obtained by molding the polyalkylene terephthalate resin composition.
CONTACT FORCE SENSOR COMPRISING TUNED AMPLIFIERS
A probe includes an elastic element having first and second ends, a transmitter, one or more receiving antennas and one or more narrow-band amplifiers. The transmitter is coupled to the first end and is configured to transmit signals in a given range of frequencies. The one or more receiving antennas are coupled to the second end and are configured to receive the signals. The one or more narrow-band amplifiers have a pass-band that matches the given range of frequencies and are configured to amplify the signals received by the one or more receiving antennas, respectively.
Lightning strike protection material for dry lay-up / dry fiber placement device
A flat metallic structure having a multiplicity of openings and having a width between 6 and 1000 mm. The metallic structure is treated with a metallic impregnating material whose melting point is lower than that of the flat metallic structure, and wherein the conductivity of the metal before the impregnation is at least 15 S/m. A use of such a structure as lightning protection for fiber composite components, as well as fiber composite components having such a structure, and a method for the production of such fiber composite components.
OVERMOLDED INSERTS AND METHODS FOR FORMING THE SAME
Overmolded inserts and methods for forming the same The present disclosure is directed to overmolded inserts (100) with reduced internal residual stress and corresponding methods for forming the overmolded inserts. The overmolded inserts have a polymer housing; metal or metal allow tapered insert (104, 302) and a compression element (106, 304) disposed between the housing and the distal end of the tapered insert. During formation, the tapered insert and compression element are placed within a mold. The polymer housing material is heated and filled into the mold. As the polymer housing cools, the compression element is compressed between the polymer housing and the tapered insert. The overmolded inserts formed have reduced internal residual stress relative to a corresponding insert formed from non-tapered insert.
Manufacturing Method for Gear
Over an outer peripheral surface of a sleeve, a primer layer is formed that is a thermoplastic resin-based adhesive thermally melted at a temperature lower than a melting point of a thermoplastic resin formed into a resin member to exhibit adhesiveness. With the sleeve preheated, a thermoplastic resin to be formed into the resin member is annularly injection-molded over an outer periphery of the sleeve.
Method of Forming a Synthetic Resin Structure Integral with Two-Dimensional Steel Fabric
In a method of forming a synthetic resin structure integral with two-dimensional steel fabric, a warp and woof are made from a steel metal, and these wires are woven in a planar configuration to provide a two-dimensional steel fabric which is then pressed into a flat structure. Two flat structures are set at a metallic mold die, into which a synthetic resin is injected so as to form a synthetic resin body integral with the flat structures. This makes it possible to secure a sufficient space between the flat structures, and spread the synthetic resin fully into the flat structures so as to reinforce a surface of the synthetic resin body with durability and high rigidity. Through the toughness, strength and price of the steel metal, it is possible to provide a marketability with products manufactured by using the present method.
Sealing diaphragm and methods of manufacturing said diaphragm
Described is a method for manufacturing a diaphragm assembly through the use of injection molding. The method can avoid the use of PTFE as a chemically resistant coating. Further, the method can increase overall adherence of a polymer diaphragm to an insert through the use of an interference surface on at least the surface of a head of the insert.
METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING LIGHTING BUTTON KEY
A method for manufacturing a lighting button key is provided. The method includes forming a button body by processing a metal plate, attaching a thin film to the button body and performing double etching on a rear surface of the button body to process a symbol pattern. Additionally, the method includes press-forming the rear surface of the button body and an injection material of a transparent or translucent material into the rear surface of the button body to perform injection molding.
REVISED MOUNTING POINT
A liftgate having an overmolded hinge point comprising a metal reinforcement overmolded with a polymer and having a compression limiter portion molded in. The compression limiter portion including a tubular portion for receiving a fastener encapsulated during overmolding and having overmolded gusset ribs extending therefrom during the overmolding process.
METHOD AND FIXTURE FOR MOLDING A TANK WITH AN EMBEDDED RING
A method of and fixture for molding a product with an embedded ring. A system for molding a ring into a product including a rotational molding mold with an opening formed in the rotational molding mold sized to fit a ring. A fixture is removably couplable to the ring, wherein the ring and the fixture when coupled are removably couplable in the opening. The fixture is removed from the ring after the ring is molded into a product. A method of manufacturing a product with an embedded ring includes: coupling a ring to a fixture; clamping the fixture and the ring in an opening in a mold top; clamping the mold top to a mold bottom; rotomolding a product; unclamping the fixture from the mold top; uncoupling the fixture from the ring; unclamping the mold top and the mold bottom; and removing the product from the mold.
