SHOE FOR HORSES, IN PARTICULAR FOR RACEHORSES
20200138001 · 2020-05-07 ·

A horseshoe for horses, in particular for racehorses when taking part in competitions. The horseshoe is produced from thermoplastic polymer material or from fiber-reinforced thermoplastic polymer material. The thermoplastic polymer material is selected from thermoplastic polycarbonates or fiber-reinforced thermoplastic polycarbonates. The horseshoe may be constructed from a core of fiber-reinforced plastic material, which is sheathed in a functional layer made of plastic. The core may also be formed from a fiber-reinforced thermoplastic polymer material, such as a fiber-reinforced thermoplastic, and the functional layer may be formed from a thermoplastic polycarbonate material or a fiber-reinforced thermoplastic polycarbonate material, such as a thermoplastic or a fiber-reinforced thermoplastic. The horseshoe may be produced by thermoplastic injection molding methods.

Storage bag

A method of making a storage bag comprising the following steps performed in any order: (a) forming a composite tube having an inner surface comprising a higher melting polymer, an outer surface comprising a lower melting polymer, two ends, and a diameter; (b) flattening the tube in a direction perpendicular to the diameter; (c) forming a joint at one of the ends at a temperature between respective melting points of the higher melting polymer and the lower melting polymer; (d) providing a composite sheet having a first side comprising a higher melting polymer and a second side comprising a lower melting polymer; and (e) disposing the composite sheet over the joint such that the first side comprising a lower melting polymer engages the joint and forming a lap seam over the joint at a temperature between respective melting points of the higher melting polymer and the lower melting polymer, and a storage bag made by such method.

Intraocular lens with elastic mask

Intraocular implants and methods of making intraocular implants are provided. The intraocular implant can include a lens body having a lens material and a mask having a mask material. The lens body can be secured to the mask. The mask material can include a modulus of elasticity that is greater than or equal to a modulus of elasticity of the lens material.

Dual-interface coupler

A method for coupling a number of utilities between a first system and a second system is provided. A first interface that couples the number of utilities between the first system and the second system is created between the first system and a utilities unit. The first interface is activated. A second interface between the second system and the utilities unit is deactivated, while the first interface remains activated.

Towers for Accessing an Interior of a Fuselage Assembly

An apparatus for accessing an interior of a fuselage assembly. A tower having a number of platform levels may be driven into a selected tower position within an assembly area. The interior of the fuselage assembly may be accessed using the number of platform levels.

Textured polymeric materials, and methods of forming

Provided for example is a method of forming texture comprising: (I) providing a polymeric layer with first and second sides, wherein the polymeric layer is made from a polymeric material that gels on contact with a gelling agent, and wherein the first side is gelled, with gelling extending into the polymeric layer but not to the second side; (II) contacting the second side of the polymeric layer with a foamy aqueous solution of surfactant (one or more), the aqueous foam being in the process of collapsing during the contacting, wherein the aqueous solution of surfactant is effective to gel the polymeric material; (III) applying a aqueous medium to the second surface with sufficient force or agitation so as to remove a portion of the polymeric material; and (IV) curing the remaining polymeric material without, following the contacting step, further contacting the polymer layer with a gelling component.

A screen film applicator includes a seat, a positioning member, and a first mechanism, the latter two of which are disposed on the seat. The seat has a track and a positioning portion arranged beside the track. The positioning member is movable with respect to the positioning portion for clamping a communication device. The first mechanism includes a top fixing member disposed on the seat, a moving carriage movable along the track, a bottom fixing member synchronously movable with the moving carriage, and a roller movable with the moving carriage. The top and the bottom fixing members are configured to respectively fix a top releasing film and a bottom releasing film respectively adhered on two opposite sides of a soft screen film. When the moving carriage is moved away from the top fixing member, the roller can gradually press the soft screen film onto the communication device.

Composite propeller blade for an aircraft

An aircraft propeller blade including a streamlined structure constituted by at least one piece of fiber reinforcement obtained by three-dimensionally weaving yarns and densified by a matrix, together with a spar including an enlarged portion extending outside the fiber reinforcement and forming the root of the blade, and a shaping portion present in a housing arranged inside the fiber reinforcement. The fiber reinforcement includes a non-interlinked zone forming the housing inside the fiber reinforcement. The non-interlinked zone opens out into the bottom portion and into the rear edge of the fiber reinforcement so as to form an opening for inserting the shaping portion of the spar into the housing of the fiber reinforcement. The opening present in the rear edge of the fiber reinforcement extends over a height that is less than the height of the housing.

Method of using a tower for accessing an interior of a fuselage assembly

A method and apparatus for accessing an interior of a fuselage assembly. A tower having a number of platform levels may be driven into a selected tower position within an assembly area. The interior of the fuselage assembly may be accessed using the number of platform levels.

AUTONOMOUS FLEXIBLE MANUFACTURING SYSTEM FOR BUILDING A FUSELAGE

A method and apparatus for building a fuselage assembly for an aircraft. A number of fixtures may be drive across a floor to an assembly area to form an assembly fixture. The fuselage assembly may be built on the assembly fixture.
