Rodent trap with glue
09737069 · 2017-08-22 ·

An improved rodent trap having a base, hammer bar, hold down bar, spring for the hammer bar, a latch member for the hold down bar and a bait member for holding the bait thereon just as a conventional rodent trap, and, also containing a glue area on either end of the trap wherein the platform has a cut-out area or receptacle area therein so that glue can be placed throughout the area of the base so that if a rodent comes near the trap he will either be killed by the hammer bar in a conventional manner or caught in the glue area. An optional string, which may contain disinfectant, may also be attached to the platform and used to pick-up the trap.

ADJUSTABLE TRIGGER PLATE FOR AN ANIMAL TRAP
20220030847 · 2022-02-03 ·

A mole trap formed of spring-biased jaws that are positioned underground. A trigger plate is mounted above and in line with the jaws. The trigger plate is extendable to reach farther into the ground and retractable back into a stored position. The adjustable trigger plate allows fine tuning of the trap for different conditions.

Self Resetting Pest Trap
20170265451 · 2017-09-21 ·

A trap for assisting in controlling pest populations, in particular rodent, and especially rats and/or mice, including: a lower housing, and a false floor including a trapdoor, and a ramp, wherein the lower housing has a lower end that sits on the ground and an upper end. The false floor is attached to the upper end of the lower housing. The trap door is triggered to suddenly collapse when the rodent places a sufficient amount of its body weight onto the trapdoor. The ramp leads up from ground level to the false floor so that when in use, a suitable liquid or gas is contained within the lower housing, and a suitable bait is placed on the false floor to attract a rodent and maneuver it onto the trapdoor. The rodent is able to easily climb up to the false floor by way of the ramp, and when the rodent moves towards the bait, and places sufficient weight upon the trapdoor, the trapdoor suddenly collapse under it, thereby causing it to drop into the lower housing, wherein the rodent drown in the liquid or suffocates in the gas.

FREEZE-DRIED BIG GAME LURE

The present disclosure relates to a buck lure comprising an absorbable pad infused with deer urine and freeze-dried rendering the urine inert. When the pad is hydrated, the scent of the pad emits a scent which lures deer to the site from which the scent is emanating.

ANIMAL-KILLING APPARATUS
20220039370 · 2022-02-10 ·

Animal-killing apparatus, which comprises: a housing, an entry tunnel, through which an animal can enter said apparatus, a spring a spring-actuated striker.

An actuation mechanism, comprising an actuator plate, a connecting lever. Said actuator plate comprises a retention hook through which it is releasably connected to a recess provided in the connecting lever.

Said connecting lever comprises a first connecting lever cam, and the striker comprises a first striker cam, cooperating with said first connecting lever cam for releasably holding the striker in a loaded position.

The animal-killing apparatus comprises an automatic loading mechanism which comprises a motor, said motor is connected to a threaded rod, on which threaded rod there is arranged a displaceable slider comprising a thread engaged with the threaded rod, a sensor device for detection of the position of the striker and the displaceable slider, a power source connected to a controller, which controller receives signals from the sensor device and controls said motor.

ANIMAL TRAP
20210400948 · 2021-12-30 ·

An animal trap (1) that provides ramped entryways for cane toads to pass through and a hands-free touchless method of disposing of cane toads captured in the animal trap that allows individuals to empty the animal trap without coming into contact with captured cane toads and/or the poison the captured cane toads secrete.

Iguana Trap
20210378229 · 2021-12-09 ·

An iguana trap made of a mesh enclosure. A one-way door covers and opening in the mesh enclosure. Inside the mesh enclosure and surrounding the opening is a tunnel that prevents the iguana from clawing the door open from inside the trap. Optionally, a partition divides an upper chamber from the lower chamber. A passage passes through the partition and has a guide above the partition that surrounds the passage to discourage an iguana from moving from the upper chamber to the lower. Optionally, a bait-box is provided with a door to refill the bait-box accessible from outside the enclosure.

Shockem Rodent Deterrent System
20210368777 · 2021-12-02 ·

Shockem rodent deterrent system is a device that delivers a non-lethal electrical shock to rodents or other animals that contact the system. Shockem rodent deterrent system includes polyelectrical rope, polyelectrical tape or polyelectrical wire, which is attached to the upper surface of a base mat, and which is connected to an electronic charge controller. Polyelectrical rope, polyelectrical tape or polyelectrical wire, is a woven polyethylene or polyvinyl chloride coated fiberglass product with continuous strands of electrical conducting wires woven into or attached to the matrix. Base mat is a flexible, shape conforming, durable, non-electrical conductive, portable or permanent mat constructed from synthetic materials, such as polyester, polypropylene, polyvinyl chloride, or fiberglass. Alternating strips of polyelectrical rope, polyelectrical tape or polyelectrical wire, every other one designated as a positively charged electrical strip or a negatively charged electrical strip, are attached to the upper surface of the base mat using non-electrical conductive methods. Strips of positively charged polyelectrical rope, polyelectrical tape or polyelectrical wire are isolated from adjacent strips of negatively charged polyelectrical rope, polyelectrical tape or polyelectrical wire by non-electrical conductive material. Positively charged strips and negatively charged strips of polyelectrical rope, polyelectrical tape or polyelectrical wire are attached, respectively, to the positive polarity and negative polarity of an electronic charge controller. Electronic charge controller delivers a pulsing, non-lethal electrical current. Rodents or other animals that come in contact with two or more strips of polyelectrical rope, polyelectrical tape or polyelectrical wire cause the electrical circuit to be completed and a pulsing electrical shock is delivered.

Electronic Rodent Trap With Remote Monitoring Capability

An electronic rodent trap includes an outer housing forms a trap body having two entrances defined on opposite sides thereof and creates a tunnel therebetween extending longitudinally between the entrances. A high voltage killing circuit is arranged within the trap body, and includes a plurality of killing plates and a triggering element separate from the plurality of killing plates and spaced inwardly from the entrance. A removable tunnel module is received within the outer housing and includes opposed entrances in alignment with the two entrances of the trap body. A removable electronics module is received within the outer housing, the electronics module contains the voltage circuit operatively connected to the plurality of killing plates.

Anti-rat valve and flap therefor
11320057 · 2022-05-03 · ·

An anti-rat flap member for sewer/draining pipe check is removably attached to the valve body. The valve body defines an interior volume therein which is preferably substantially open and unobstructed (except for the flap member). The flap member acts both as a seal to prevent the back-flow of sewage/drainage water and is normally in a closed position to prevent the passage of rats. The flap member comprises a row of sharp projections attached by known means (such as integrally molded, glued, rivetted or screwed) to the outermost side of the flap member facing the downstream section of the valve. The projections must be at an angle to the surface of the sheet, preferably at an angle which will prevent the rodent from gnawing and biting or even lifting the flap member with their mouth.
