METHODS FOR PRESERVATION OF PHOTOSYNTHETICALLY ACTIVE CELLS AND PHOTOSYNTHETIC BIOMATERIALS
Methods of storage and preservation of photosynthetically active cells and photosynthetic biomaterials are provided herein. Contemplated methods comprise storing the cells and biomaterials at a refrigeration temperature, optionally without light. The stored cells and biomaterials may be placed in a nitrogen containing medium under illumination before use. The chlorophyll content, oxygen consumption rate, oxygen production rate and/or morphology may be substantially preserved throughout the storage and awakening process.
Airborne Rooting and Callusing of Cuttings
Provided herein are devices, systems, and methods for airborne rooting and/or callusing of cuttings. The device includes a container defining an interior that can be humidified to allow for development of calluses or roots.

COATING FOR FLOWER HEADS
Disclosed is a composition for coating flower heads to prevent or slow down, infection of flower heads during storage and transport to final retail, and a use of the coating composition. The disclosure also relates to a flower coated with said composition. The disclosure is especially suitable for flower heads of roses and rose buds.
HARVEST/POST HARVEST WASH COMPOSITION FOR FLOWERING PLANTS AND A METHOD OF USING THE SAME
The present invention discloses a harvest/post-harvest composition for washing flowering plants and a method of using the same. The composition includes a solution of Tetraacetylethylenediamine (TAED) and sodium percarbonate in a ration ranging from 1:1 to 3:1, respectively. The composition also includes a chelating agent and a pH regulator, which work to activate the TAED; and a surfactant. The pH regulator and the surfactant are added in quantity as minimal as possible to avoid foaming entirely or to produce negligible foaming.
CANNABINOID AND TERPENE PRESERVATION IN BIOMASS USING WHOLE FERMENTATION BROTH
The present invention includes a method of preserving cannabinoid concentration in a biomass comprising: providing a hemp biomass in an aqueous solution; adding a culture of a cannabinoid preserving Bacillus bacteria to the hemp biomass solution; and culturing the hemp biomass with the Bacillus bacteria under conditions in which the cannabinoid concentration is maintained.
COMPOSITIONS AND METHODS FOR RELEASE OF CYCLOPROPENES
Systems, compositions, methods, and methods of making compositions for release of one or more cyclopropene compounds are generally provided.
COMPOSITIONS AND METHODS FOR INSECT CONTROL
Provided are compositions and methods for use in deterring insects, such as aphids, from damaging plants. A method is provided and involves applying to one or more plants: i) bacteria that produce pyoverdine that emits fluorescent light that is detected by the insects and causes the insects to avoid the plant(s), wherein the bacteria are applied such that that there are more than 10.sup.5 bacterial cells per 3 cm.sup.2 of plant surface, ii) a composition that contains at least 0.00005 mg of isolated pyoverdine that emits fluorescent light that is detected by the insects and causes the insects to avoid the plant(s), and combinations thereof. Also provided is a system for use in plant pest control in a confined space, including in structures such as greenhouses and hydroponic growing containers. The system includes one or more light sources that only emit light having a wavelength of 450-525 nm.
