Method for producing a packaged portion of a food product and portion produced by said method
This method for producing a packaged food product portion includes the following steps: providing a cup defining an inner area for receiving the food product; cold pouring, at a temperature below 50° C., the food product into the receiving area of the cup; covering the food product using a thermally insulating lid arranged such that thermally conducting flaps of the cup extend toward the outside of the lid after the covering step; folding the flaps on an outer face of the lid opposite the receiving area; and heat-sealing the flaps on the outer face.

INJECTION MOLD, INJECTION MOLDING MACHINE INCLUDING INJECTION MOLD, AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING INJECTION-MOLDED PRODUCT USING INJECTION MOLDING MACHINE
The present invention relates to an injection mold, an injection molding machine including the injection mold, and a method of manufacturing an injection-molded product using the injection molding machine. More specifically, the present invention relates to an injection mold including a mold having a mold surface on which one or more deposition layers are formed, wherein the deposition layer includes a fluororesin homopolymer or polyether ether ketone (PEEK); an injection molding machine including the injection mold; and a method of manufacturing an injection-molded product using the injection molding machine.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR FORMING PLASTIC PREFORMS INTO PLASTIC CONTAINERS AND BLOW MOULD
Apparatus (1) for forming plastic preforms (10) into plastic containers (20). In a closed state of a blow mould (14), a contact area is formed between side parts (14a, 14b), in which the two side parts (14a, 14b) rest against each other, the side parts (14a, 14b) form a mould separation seam (5) in the contact area. In accordance with the invention, at least one section of at least one side part (14a, 14b) has a coating and/or an additional element (60) in a region of the mould separation seam (5), so that a heat transfer between the plastic preform (10) and the inner wall (52, 54) in the contact area can be delayed at least in places at these at least one section.
LOCKING FINGER FOR A UNIT FOR MOLDING CONTAINERS MADE FROM THERMOPLASTIC MATERIAL
A locking finger for a unit having a molding cavity for molding the container delimited at least by a first shell attached to a first mold carrier and by a second shell attached to a second mold carrier that is movable relative to the first mold carrier between an open position and a closed position, the first mold carrier comprising a control member for controlling the locking finger and the second mold carrier comprising a locking opening, the locking finger comprising an interface for mechanical coupling to the control member, and a locking portion designed to cooperate with the locking opening in the closed position. The molding unit is a subassembly of a plurality of mechanical parts assembled together rigidly, including a main body of the finger comprising the mechanical coupling interface, and said locking portion, which is a main sleeve made from anti-friction material assembled on the main body.
LOCKING FINGER FOR A UNIT FOR MOLDING CONTAINERS MADE OF THERMOPLASTIC MATERIAL
A locking finger for a molding unit, the molding unit comprising a cavity for molding the container that is at least defined by a first shell fixed on a first mold holder and by a second shell fixed on a second mold holder that can move relative to the first mold holder between an open position and a closed position, the first mold holder comprising a component for controlling the locking finger and the second mold holder comprising a locking opening, the locking finger including an interface for mechanically coupling to the control component, and a locking portion designed to engage with the locking opening in the closed position. The locking portion comprises an anti-friction composite material.
EXPANDABLE FOAMING MOLDS AND APPLICATIONS THEREOF
Described herein are expandable foaming molds. The foaming molds described herein permit mold boundaries to expand along with the expanding polymer and thereby conform to the foaming dynamics of the polymer material. By modifying the temperature and pressure applied to the mold devices described herein, the properties of the resulting foamed polymer can be fine-tuned for specific applications.
Method and device for stamping an unconsolidated composite blank with a thermoplastic matrix
A method for the hot stamping of a composite part with continuous fiber reinforcement in a thermoplastic matrix. A blank including a laminated structure of plies consisting in unidirectional tapes of fibers pre-impregnated with thermoplastic polymer is obtained. The blank is heated in the open to a temperature greater than or equal to the melting temperature of the polymer making up the matrix. The blank is then stamped.
IMPLANT FOR BONES OR VERTEBRAE WITH SELF-CONSTRAINED FLEXIBILITY
An implant for the stabilization of bones or vertebrae is provided, the implant being a solid body including a longitudinal axis that defines a longitudinal direction and including a flexible section that has a surface and has a length in the longitudinal direction, the flexible section including at least one cavity located near the surface and having a width in the longitudinal direction that is smaller than the length of the flexible section, the at least one cavity being connected to the surface through at least one slit, and a width of the slit in the longitudinal direction being smaller than the width of the cavity.
Device and method for inductive sealing of a plurality of plies of a laminate
A device for inductive sealing of a plurality of plies of a laminate which comprises a carrier layer made of electrically non-conductive material, a sealing layer made of thermoplastic material and a metal layer disposed between the sealing layer and the carrier layer, includes two compressible sealing jaws, each fitted with an inductor embedded in a block of the sealing jaw. The block of each sealing jaw consists of a metallic material. A concentrator of each sealing jaw is composed of a plurality of partial pieces, wherein each partial piece consists of a material suitable for magnetic field concentration and all the partial pieces are electrically insulated from one another and with respect to the metal block. The inductor is disposed in a groove in the concentrator.
