Use of layer structures in wind power plants
The invention relates to the use of layer structures in the production of rotor blades for wind power plants, and to rotor blades for wind power plants.
METHOD FOR PATTERNING FOAM PAD
A method for patterning a foam pad includes transversely cutting the foam pad so that the foam pad has a cut surface; covering the cut surface with a dye paper on which a predetermined pattern is formed using a dye, performing a first hot press process on the dye paper so that the dye on the dye paper is vaporized and transferred to the cut surface, and removing the dye paper; applying a transparent PU resin onto the cut surface that has been dyed, and curing the PU resin; and performing a second hot press process on the PU resin on the cut surface, so that the cut surface is increased in density and the PU resin encloses the dye, thereby making the dye firmly attached to the cut surface.
A METHOD AND AN APPARATUS FOR MAKING A THREE-DIMENSIONAL OBJECT AND A MEMBRANE THEREFORE
The present invention concerns an apparatus for making a three-dimensionally curved object, said apparatus comprising a membrane having a moulding surface, which is configurable into a predetermined shape by individually adjusting an array of actuators acting on the surface opposite the moulding surface of said membrane, wherein the membrane is a ferromagnetic membrane and the actuators are provided with magnetic joints at the distal ends of said actuators.
CUSHION FOR POSITIONING PATIENTS AND METHOD FOR MAKING IT
A cushion for positioning patients, including an outer cover, in which there is a bag, equipped with two separate compartments, which contain two components suitable for mixing with each other to form a polyurethane foam. The outer cover includes an outer surface made of non-woven fabric and an inner surface made of polymeric material, in such a way as to allow sealing of the outline of the outer cover, guaranteeing the impermeability of the cushion.
TIRE BUILDING DRUM
A second stage tire building drum is disclosed. The second stage tire building drum comprises a first and second hub, wherein each hub is mounted on a central shaft of the second stage tire building drum. Each hub is axially movable and has a bead receiving mechanism. The bead receiving mechanism includes one or more bead segments, wherein each bead segment has a pocket.
METHOD OF BUILDING TIRES
A method of forming a tire having a first and second bead on a tire building drum is disclosed. The method includes the steps of applying a green tire carcass onto the tire building drum, said tire building drum having a left and right hub, each hub having a bead pocket. The method includes the steps of placing the first and second bead onto a first and second respective bead pocket of the tire building drum and then inflating the carcass into engagement with a belt and tread package while moving at least one of the left and right hubs in the axial direction at a controlled velocity towards the other respective hub.
Three-dimensional printer systems and methods
Disclosed are embodiments of a three-dimensional (3D) printer for building 3D objects with layer based, additive manufacturing techniques. The 3D printer can have an extrusion assembly including a hot end for heating consumable material and depositing the consumable material in layers on a printing bed. The hot end can be moved in a horizontal plane parallel the printing bed while the printing bed can be moved perpendicular to the horizontal plane to print the 3D object.
Isolation device in a heating and sealing system
A protective packaging formation device is disclosed herein. The protective packaging formation device can include an inflation assembly having a fluid conduit that directs fluid between first and second overlapping plies of a web material and a sealing mechanism. The sealing mechanism can include a heating zone of the sealing mechanism operable to heat the plies to create a longitudinal heat seal that seals the first and second plies together as the web is driven over the heating zone in a downstream direction. The sealing mechanism can also include a pinch zone that overlaps longitudinally with the heating zone. The pinch zone defined by an isolation element that applies a first pressure to the web material along a first region. The pinch zone is also defined by a support structure and a compression element that applies a second pressure to the web material there-between along a second region transverse to the first region.

Knit textiles and uppers, and processes for making the same
Articles of wear having one or more textiles that include a low processing temperature polymeric composition and a high processing temperature polymeric composition, and methods of manufacturing the same are disclosed. The low processing temperature polymeric composition and the high processing temperature polymeric composition can be selectively incorporated into a textile to provide one or more structural properties and/or other advantageous properties to the article. The textile can be thermoformed to impart such structural and/or other advantageous properties to the article of wear. This abstract is intended as a scanning tool for purposes of searching in the particular art and is not intended to be limiting of the present disclosure.
