Double-stranded ribonucleic acid as control against insects
A composition for use in formulations for controlling insect populations, including populations of mosquito and flies. The composition comprises one or more double-stranded constructs inhibitory to RNA transcription of ribosomal proteins. The invention also relates to method of using the compositions in formulations to inhibit insect populations.

COMPOSITIONS AND METHODS FOR USE IN SURFACE DECONTAMINATION
The disclosure provides compositions and methods for making a colorized solution of an aqueous disinfectant that is both stable in bulk solution and will fade to clear within a predetermined period of time after being applied to a surface, for example as a spray or film. The compositions and methods described here allow an end user to visualize both the extent of coverage and the duration of contact of the disinfectant with the surface, thereby providing more efficient disinfection of the surface.

ONYCHOMYCOSIS TREATMENT SYSTEM AND METHOD
A system and method includes a nonthermal plasma sub-system with a permeable UV filter for production and delivery of a redox gas solution to treat onychomycosis, wherein the redox gas solution comprises a reactive species dissolved in a perfluorocarbon liquid, and wherein the perfluorocarbon liquid is dispensed onto a gas-permeable membrane and wherein the reactive species may include, alone, or in combination, one or more of reactive oxygen, reactive nitrogen, reactive chlorine, or reactive bromine species, and the perfluorocarbon liquid may include perfluorodecalin.

PLANT INOCULATION METHOD
A method for inoculating a plant with a nitrogen-fixing bacteria such as Gluconacetobacter diazotrophicus, said method comprising administering the nitrogen-fixing bacteria to a wound of a growing plant, for example to recently cut grass. Inoculation in this manner leads to enhanced growth characteristics including increased greenness of grass. Novel compositions suitable for use in the method are also described and claimed, together with kits for producing these.
