Injection stretch blow molded articles and random copolymers for use therein
A polymer composition adapted for use in injection stretch blow molding may include a metallocene random propylene-based copolymer in the absence of a clarifier. The metallocene random propylene-based copolymer may exhibit a melting point of from 105° C. to less than 175° C., a recrystallization temperature ranging from 85° C. to 100° C. as measured by DSC, a microtacticity ranging from 89% to 99%, a molecular weight (Mw) ranging from 170,000 to 210,000, and a melt flow rate of from about 1 dg/min. to about 40 dg/min. A method of forming an injection stretch blow molded (ISBM) article may include providing the metallocene random propylene-based copolymer, injection molding the metallocene random propylene-based copolymer in the absence of a clarifier into a preform, and stretch-blowing the preform into an article.
Processed slabs, and systems and methods related thereto
This document describes systems and processes for forming synthetic molded slabs, which may be suitable for use in living or working spaces (e.g., along a countertop, table, floor, or the like).
FORMING METHOD OF A PVB FILM FOR HUD
A PVB film for HUD, a forming mold and a forming method thereof are presented. The accuracy error of HUD imaging achieved by the PVB film for HUD is ±0.1 mrad. The forming mold includes an upper mold and a lower mold, the two of which can form an enclosed mold cavity when clamped together, wherein protective films are disposed on inner surfaces of the upper mold and the lower mold, respectively, for supporting PVB material and preventing the PVB material from bonding with the upper mold and the lower mold, and wherein shapes of the protective films match shapes of the upper mold and the lower mold.
Production method of mold, manufacturing method of pattern sheet, production method of electroform, and production method of mold using electroform
A production method of a mold includes: preparing a plate precursor having a protruding pattern formed of protrusions in a pattern presence region on a base, and a thermoplastic resin sheet; determining a position at which the plate precursor is to be pressed against the thermoplastic resin sheet by moving the plate precursor and the thermoplastic resin sheet relative to each other; and forming a recessed pattern on the thermoplastic resin sheet by pressing the protrusions of the plate precursor which is heated against the thermoplastic resin sheet at a position where a part of the pattern presence region of the plate precursor excluding the protrusions is separated from a surface of the thermoplastic resin sheet, cooling the plate precursor in a state in where the pressed protrusions and the thermoplastic resin sheet are in contact with each other, and separating the plate precursor from the thermoplastic resin sheet.

POLYESTER FILM AND METHOD FOR REPRODUCING POLYESTER CONTAINER USING SAME
The embodiments relate to a. polyester film and a process for regenerating a polyester container using the same, which not only solve the environmental problems by improving the recyclability of polyester containers, but also are capable of enhancing the yield and productivity. The polyester film comprises a first layer comprising a first resin comprising a diol component and a dicarboxylic acid component; and a second layer laminated on one side of the first layer and comprising a second resin different from the first resin, wherein when the polyester film is cut with a polyethylene terephthalate container to form flakes and the flakes are thermally treated at a temperature of 200° C. to 220° C. for 60 minutes to 120 minutes, the clumping fraction is 8% or less.
LARGE MICROFLUIDIC BIOREACTOR AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF
Large bioreactors based on microfluidic technology, and methods of manufacturing the same, are provided, The big microbioreactor can include a chip or substrate having the microfluidic channels thereon, and the chip can be manufactured by forming a master mold, forming a male mold from a photopolymer plate using replica molding with the Fmold, and transferring features of the male to a polymer material.
Fabricating ultra-thin structured polymer films
Processes for fabricating structured, relatively large area, ultra-thin polymer films are disclosed. For instance, such a process may include spinning a thermoplastic polymer film onto an etched wafer that serves as a mold for the thermoplastic polymer film, baking the thermoplastic polymer film on a hotplate at a curing temperature, delaminating the thermoplastic polymer film in water, and peeling the thermoplastic polymer film from the etched wafer, producing a structured thermoplastic polymer film that has structures corresponding to areas where the wafer has been etched.
Self-retaining vaginal retractor
This disclosure provides a retractor for use in repairing vaginal tears following birth. The retractor is formed as a sheet of soft rubber, plastic or silicone and is rolled or folded for vaginal insertion; the retractor is resilient so as to provide a spring force which urges the vaginal canal open to a degree that facilities visualization and obstetric repair while avoiding unnecessary strain on the tissues being repaired. An optional flange structure can be provided so as to provide a structure for the surgeon/OB to reposition the retractor in-situ, and also to serve as a stop or retainer to hold the retractor in place. The disclosed retractor is self-retaining, such that both of a surgeon's hands can be freed for other tasks.
ARTIFICIAL MARBLE INCLUDING OPAQUE STRIPED REGION AND TRANSPARENT BASE REGION
The present invention relates to an artificial marble including one or more stripe regions and a base region on a first surface of the artificial marble, in which the stripe regions extend into the artificial marble, in which the artificial marble includes a section where a surface of the section corresponding to the first surface of the artificial marble is the base region and an inside of the artificial marble in a vertical direction under the base region is the stripe region, and in which at least a part of the stripe region of the section is visible to a naked eye from the surface of the base region.
