Conduit resonator
A method for making a substantially tube-shaped conduit resonator having a plurality of plastic component parts, the conduit resonator having a tubular hollow body and at least one tubular molded part arranged inside the tubular hollow body and connected to the tubular hollow body, the method comprising the steps of: making a molded part via an injection molding process in an outer tool having an inner mandrel; injecting the hollow body between the molded part and a surrounding outer tool wherein the molded part along with the inner mandrel serve as an inner tool; and, thereafter, via a blow molding process, seating the hollow body on the inner wall of the outer tool and reshaping the hollow body on the outer wall of the molded part and bonding the hollow body, in part, to the outer wall of the molded part.
Method For Manufacturing A Fibreboard
The disclosure proposes a fibreboard made of lignocellulose-containing fibres, in particular wood fibres and a binding agent for providing a fibreboard which enables to combine a high stability, on the one hand, and a comparatively small weight, on the other hand, and which can nevertheless be manufactured with a minor financial effort.
EXTERIOR TRIM FOR A MOTOR VEHICLE
An exterior trim for a motor vehicle has a body that forms a surface of the exterior trim. The body has an exterior surface and an interior surface, and defines a recess or cut-out. The body has a single undulating wall formed on the interior surface of the body substantially perpendicular to a plane defined by the body, and the single undulating wall at least partially surrounds the recess or cut-out. The exterior trim also includes a human-machine interface (HMI) device disposed at least partially within the recess or cut-out of the body. The HMI device may be used to externally control certain features of the motor vehicle.
ANTI-MIGRATION MICROPATTERNED STENT COATING
An endoprosthesis has an expanded state and a contracted state, the endoprosthesis includes a stent having an inner surface defining a lumen, having an outer surface, and defining a plurality of apertures through the outer surface, wherein the apertures are arranged in a micropattern; and a coating (e.g., polymeric coating) attached to the outer surface of the stent. The coating includes a base and a tissue engagement portion including a second surface facing outwardly from the stent, the tissue engagement portion including a structure that defines a plurality of holes extending inwardly from the second surface toward the base. The holes are arranged in a micropattern. When the endoprosthesis is expanded to the expanded state in a lumen defined by a vessel wall, the structure applies a force that may reduce stent migration by creating an interlock between the vessel wall and the endoprosthesis.
MOLDED WINDOW WELL WITH IMPACT RESISTANT LIP
A window well formed of a fiber reinforced plastic, including a body having a plurality of ribs interposed between a plurality of wall surface portions. The window well includes flanges on either side of the body, with flange cut-out portions at a top of each flange. A plurality of corrugations are provided in a curved top lip of the window well for improved impact resistance. The window well may also include one or more of the following features: integrated stacking platforms along the flange to reduce wedging when storing stacked window wells, mating features in the top and bottom of the body to allow vertical stacking attachment of one window well to another to form a taller window well, rib gussets, integrated forklift supports, and/or an additional pair of smaller ribs along the flat bottom portion of the window well to facilitate ultrasonic welding of one window well to another.
