A resin-infusion system for manufacture of a composite part includes an inflatable rigid bladder defining at least one infusion-flow medium and a preform lay-up formed on the bladder such that the infusion-flow medium defines space between the bladder and preform lay-up. The system also includes a mold into which the bladder and preform lay-up are placed such that the preform lay-up is constrained against the mold a resin injection system configured to feed resin into and to flow along the infusion-flow medium and then be infused into the preform lay-up. The bladder is configured to expand against the infused preform lay-up during curing such that the infusion-flow medium is smoothed resulting in a smooth surface of the finished part.

Flame retardant rotomolded polyolefin

Polyolefin hollow articles prepared via a rotomolding process are provided flame retardancy by incorporating therein a phosphonate ester, an N-alkoxy hindered amine and melamine cyanurate.

PREFORM, DOUBLE CONTAINER AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THEREOF

Provided is a double container where an inner bag can be easily pulled out from an outer shell. According to the present invention, a double container comprising a container body and a mouth part attachment member is provided. The container body includes a mouth part and a body part and a bottom part. The mouth part is a tubular portion having an open end. The body part is arranged adjacent to the mouth part on a side farther from the open end than the mouth part, and has a larger outer diameter than the mouth part. The bottom part is configured to close a lower end of the body part. The container body includes an inner bag and an outer shell arranged to cover the inner bag. And the mouth part attachment member is configured to be attachable to the mouth part, and is configured such that the inner bag rotates as the mouth part attachment member rotates.

A method and apparatus is presented. A portion is cut from a thermoplastic sheet of a first thermoplastic material based on a three dimensional model. The portion is secured to a mold. The portion and the mold are heated under vacuum to form a structure. The structure may take the form of a protective covering. In some illustrative examples, the mold may be formed of a second thermoplastic material based on the three dimensional model using additive manufacturing.

Device for biaxially-oriented stretching polytetrafluoroethylene hollow fiber membranes and method thereof

The present disclosure discloses a device for biaxially-oriented stretching polytetrafluoroethylene hollow fiber membranes and the method thereof. The device may include a lubricant removing oven and a tube blank heating oven mounted at the outlet end of the push-compression mold, a core extension extending from the core into the lubricant removing oven and the tube blank heating oven, and a speed regulating guide wheel mounted at the outlet of the tube blank heating oven. A tube blank is extruded from a push-compression machine, inserted on the core extension for removal of lubricant in the lubricant removing oven, heated in the tube blank heating oven, transversely stretched by means of the bulked core, and then wound onto the speed regulating guide wheel for longitudinal stretching. Both transverse and longitudinal stretching can be realized for polytetrafluoroethylene tube blanks, overcoming disadvantages of traditional processing devices that can merely perform longitudinal stretching.
