Apparatus for Molding Hollow Workpieces
An apparatus and process for molding workpieces usable for consumer products. The workpieces may be injection molded with a cavity formed by a core pin and have an undercut, such as internal threads, in the cavity. The apparatus has a drive system with a stripper plate mounted for alternatingly forward and retracting axial movement. The stripper plate is axially driven and drives a stripper sleeve barrel cam and a core pin base barrel cam, each having respective cam followers. The respective motions of the cam followers are superimposed on a stripper sleeve insert, which drives a core pin sleeve. The core pin sleeve is subjected to responsive three dimensional motion, allowing an internally threaded workpiece to be unscrewed from the core pin sleeve. The system does not require separate drives for the core pin sleeve, a single stripper plate drive being sufficient and further allows each mold cavity/core pin combination in a mold half to be unique.
Blow molding method, blow mold, and blow-molded container
A blow molding method includes a primary blow molding step that molds a preform (200) in a primary blow mold (300A) that includes a primary temperature control section (330) to obtain an intermediate molded article (202), a shrinkage step that discharges blow air from the intermediate molded article to shrink the intermediate molded article, and a secondary blow molding step that blow-molds the intermediate molded article (204) that has shrunken in a secondary blow mold that includes a secondary temperature control section (430) to obtain a final molded article. The primary blow molding step cools a first intermediate molding region of the intermediate molded article that follows a neck using a first primary temperature control section, and the shrinkage step shrinks a second intermediate molding region of the intermediate molded article of which the temperature is controlled by a second primary temperature control section.
METHOD FOR PRODUCING HOLLOW CARBON CAPSULES
The present invention relates to a method of producing hollow carbon capsules which can simply and effectively produce hollow carbon capsule by using polymer particles as soft templates and using a spray-drying method.
UNIVERSAL IN-MOLD LABELING APPARATUS AND SYSTEM INCORPORATING THE APPARATUS
A system combining a machine for blow-molding articles with a universal in-mold labeling apparatus. The apparatus has a frame on which turntables are mounted. Each turntable has an air rotary union, facilitating rotation of the respective turntable, and suction cups adapted to pick, hold, and release labels. The turntables deliver labels to the open molds of the machine. The apparatus also has a vertical slide positioned between the turntables. A placement head engages the turntables and moves up the vertical slide to a position in the open molds. At least one label magazine is affixed to the frame and retains the labels. Strategically placed air valves provide air and vacuum to pick, hold, and release labels. A human machine interface facilitates communication between an operator of the system and the system. Finally, a control system is provided to allow the operator to program and control both the machine and apparatus.
Assembly of injection-molded carrier and insert(s) containing heat-expandable resin composition
An assembly useful for providing structural reinforcement and/or sound/vibration damping to a hollow member of a motor vehicle is provided which contains an injection-molded carrier made of a heat resistant thermoplastic composition, at least one of the first side and the second side of the carrier has at least one receptacle adapted to receive and retain an insert comprised of a heat-expandable resin composition. The carrier may have a plurality of openings in at least one of the first side or the second side forming a grid or lattice and the assembly may include a mounting member adapted to fasten the carrier to an interior wall of a hollow member.
PROCESS FOR MANUFACTURING A PADDING DEVICE FOR A CARRYING BELT SYSTEM FOR A RESPIRATOR, PADDING DEVICE, CARRYING BELT SYSTEM AND RESPIRATOR
A process manufactures a padding device (10a; 10b; 10c; 10d; 10e), for a carrying belt system (100) for a respirator (1000), having a closed pad core shell (20) and a pad core (30) configured in the pad core shell. The process includes injection molding a hollow profiled section, inserting of a pad core material into the hollow profiled section for forming the pad core in the hollow profiled section, and closing the hollow profiled section (21) for creating the closed pad core shell (20). The padding device (10a; 10b; 10c; 10d; 10e) has a closed pad core shell (20) and a pad core (30) arranged in the pad core shell. The pad core shell is seamless as an injection-molded component in at least some sections. A carrying belt system as well as a respirator with the carrying belt system are provided with the belt system having the padding device.
MANUFACTURING METHOD OF TANK
A manufacturing method of a tank comprises winding a fiber on a liner by hoop winding. The winding comprises: forming an (N+1)-th layer such that a position closer to a center of the liner by a first predetermined distance along an axis line direction of the liner from an end in the axis line direction of an N-th layer is set to position of an end in the axis line direction of the (N+1)-th layer with respect to a direction perpendicular to the axis line direction; and winding the fiber on the N-th layer to provide one winding turn of the fiber, such that a pressing force of pressing the N-th layer in the axis line direction by the fiber is equal to or smaller than a total frictional force in an area in the N-th layer on an edge side in the axis line direction of a fiber winding position.
