IMPROVEMENTS TO TIRE REPAIR APPARATUS
An outlet coupling for a sealant container comprises a connector having an open first end to engage with a tire valve stem and an open second end continuous with a channel. The outlet coupling also comprises a pin at least partially located within the channel, the pin comprising a body having a head and an engaging portion at substantially opposite ends thereof. The head is in contact with a biasing member and the engaging portion is engaged with a sealing element. The pin is movable between an open position wherein the sealing element is spaced from an end of the channel and a closed position wherein the sealing element seals the end of the channel. Methods of sealing a puncture in an inflatable article, such as a pneumatic tire, with a tire repair apparatus using the outlet coupling are also disclosed.
Products by Upcycling Landfill Waste Streams
Fossil-fuel and rubber-derived waste stream conversion to composite lumber substitutes or barrier members; the composites having material properties and uses of greater value than the solid waste stream components separately or together. Preferred combinations including waste materials derived from waste carpet, waste tires, and waste bituminous roofing shingles, all enormous problems for landfill disposal. In a range of formulation ratios, when combined with a binder, new and marketable products are made from solid waste. Improved resistance to rot, to water, and to weathering is exhibited in synergy with improved compressive and flexural strength, enabling production of a wide variety of useful and environmentally-friendly structural products, for example. Product weight and strength can be engineered to suit and may be structural members for architectural, engineering or agricultural use. Advantageously, the new products themselves can be re-usedby an end-of-life process for making more new products, achieving the capacity to make and remake multigenerational products from solid wastes and to reduce loading of landfills.
Air valve combining typed polyurethane foam ejection device for tire
An embodiment of the present invention provides an air injection valve-integrated spray for spraying and applying polyurethane foam to a desired portion of a tire. The spray includes a polyurethane foam chamber disposed at an end of a coupling portion and keeping polyurethane foam under pressure and an air delivery chamber delivering air injected from an air injection valve to a breaking portion of the polyurethane foam chamber, in which the breaking portion of the polyurethane foam chamber is broken by air coming out of the air delivery chamber, so the polyurethane foam is sprayed.
Connection Member, Connection Assembly And Tire Repair Machine
The present invention relates to a connector, a connecting assembly and a tire repairing machine. The connector comprises: a circumferential side wall defining an interior cavity of the connector; a first end wall in which a first through hole is provided, the first through hole communicating the interior cavity with an exterior of the connector; a second end wall in which a second through hole is provided, the second through hole communicating the interior cavity with the exterior of the connector, wherein, the first through hole and the second through hole are both of a non-circular shape.
Puncture repair liquid holding container
A puncture repair liquid holding container includes a container main body provided with a holding portion that holds a puncture repair liquid and an opening, a cap mounted on the opening, and a reinforcing member made from a material having a tensile elastic modulus per unit cross-sectional area greater than that of a material constituting the holding portion. The reinforcing member is disposed around an entire circumference of the holding portion over at least a portion of the holding portion in a height direction.
ONE-WAY VALVE, AND TIRE REPAIR SEALANT BOTTLE HAVING SAME
A one-way valve (10) comprises: a valve housing (100) having a first end portion, a second end portion, a valve housing channel (110), and a stopper projection (108) provided within the valve housing channel (110); a valve body (200) having a first end portion, a second end portion, and a valve body channel (202) in fluid communication with the valve housing channel (110), the second end portion of the valve body (200) being snap-fit to the first end portion of the valve housing (100); and a sealing plug (300) slidably disposed within the valve body channel (202), wherein an inner diameter of the valve housing channel (110) is greater than an inner diameter of the valve body channel (202) and an outer diameter of the sealing plug (300), and a distance between the stopper projection (108) and the second end portion of the valve body (200) is greater than a longitudinal length of the sealing plug (300). A tire repair glue bottle (1) having a one-way valve comprises: a bottle body (20) containing glue; an air intake device (40) attached to the bottle body (20); a bottle lid (50) attached to the bottle body (20); a glue tube (30) provided within the bottle body (20) and having one end connected to the bottle lid (50); and an one-way valve (10), wherein the second end portion of the valve housing (100) of the one-way valve (10) is connected to the other end of the glue tube (30).
Run-flat tire insert
A run-flat tire insert for installation in a pneumatic tire mounted on a rim. The insert is a one-piece toroidal member formed from expanded polymer foam beads molded into a structural foam part. The insert has an inner diameter surface sized to fit snuggly about a periphery of a tire rim and an outer diameter sized to fit within a tire cavity. The insert is spaced from the tire inner casing surface during normal operation and supports the tire inner casing surface away from the rim in the event of a flat tire. A molding apparatus and a method of forming a run-flat tire insert is also disclosed.
Device and method for inflating and repairing tires and other inflatables
Devices are taught for filling a tire with air, gas or a liquid and repairing the tire. In one embodiment, the tire repair tool discloses an transmittal control section, with the transmittal control section comprising a proximal end, the proximal end having an opening a distal end, with the distal end having a centralized opening to align with a punctureable seal at a proximal end of a gas cartridge; a passageway positioned between the proximal end of the gas cartridge and the distal end; and a puncture tool which can puncture the punctureable seal of the gas cartridge.
