SYSTEM FOR THE PRODUCTION OF COMPACTED ICE
20200124334 · 2020-04-23 ·

The present invention relates to a system for producing compacted ice from crushed ice, comprising: a sub-system (1) for receiving crushed ice; a sub-system (3) for compacting the crushed ice, comprising at least a press module (4), and a compression module (5) provided with means for generating compression forces by means of the movement of one or more press rollers (6); and a sub-system (7) for actuating the compaction sub-system (3). Advantageously, the compaction sub-system (3) also comprises one or more rotary platforms (2) for moulding the crushed ice, arranged between the press module (4) and the compression module (5), such that the rotary movement thereof is used to convey the crushed ice and the compacted ice during production. The actuation sub-system (7) is provided with means for rotating the rotary platforms (2) while the crushed ice is being compacted.

DIE ASSEMBLIES FOR FORMING A FIREARM PROJECTILE, METHODS OF UTILIZING THE DIE ASSEMBLIES, AND FIREARM PROJECTILES
20200094319 · 2020-03-26 ·

Die assemblies for forming a firearm projectile and methods of utilizing the die assemblies are disclosed herein. The die assemblies include a forming die, a first punch, and a second punch. The forming die defines a first side, a second side that is opposed to the first side, and a die cavity that extends between the first side and the second side. The first punch is configured to seal against the forming die from the first side. The second punch is configured to be received within the die cavity from the second side. When the first punch seals against the forming die and the second punch is received within the die cavity, the first punch, the second punch, and the forming die collectively define a forming surface shaped to define an external contour of the firearm projectile.

Bladder devices for moving components of web packaging machines

A bladder device is for moving a component of a web packaging machine that forms and encloses a food product in a food product package made of webs of packaging material. The bladder device has a bladder and a nipple stub coupled to the bladder and having a first end configured to receive a gas and a second end configured to dispense the gas into the bladder to thereby inflate the bladder and move the component of the web packaging machine. A collar coupled to the nipple stub such that the bladder is sandwiched between the collar and the second end of the nipple stub. The second end of the nipple stub has a depression and the collar has a boss that is oriented towards the depression such that tightening the collar on the nipple stub forces the bladder into the depression and thereby forms a fluid tight seal.
