WORKPIECE CONVEYANCE DEVICE
A workpiece conveyance device is used for a press device. The workpiece conveyance device includes a support component, first and second moving members, a driver, and a transmission mechanism. The support component supports a holder that detachably holds a workpiece. The first moving member pivotably supports the support component. The first and second moving members are movable in the up and down direction. The driver moves the second moving member in the up and down direction. The transmission mechanism transmits an up and down movement of the second moving member to the first moving member so as to move the first moving member in the up and down direction in conjunction with the up and down movement of the second moving member. The transmission mechanism causes an amount of movement of the first moving member to be greater than an amount of movement of the second moving member.
WORKPIECE CONVEYANCE DEVICE
A workpiece conveyance device is used for a press device. The workpiece conveyance device includes a support component, first and second moving members, a driver, and a transmission mechanism. The support component supports a holder that detachably holds a workpiece. The first moving member pivotably supports the support component. The first and second moving members are movable in the up and down direction. The driver moves the second moving member in the up and down direction. The transmission mechanism transmits an up and down movement of the second moving member to the first moving member so as to move the first moving member in the up and down direction in conjunction with the up and down movement of the second moving member. The transmission mechanism causes an amount of movement of the first moving member to be greater than an amount of movement of the second moving member.
Method and system for forming protrusions, and method for manufacturing metal component having protrusions
Solid metal protrusions are formed by the method including: clamping and fixing the metal workpiece between a support die and a pressure die; pressing end cross sections of two or more outer peripheral end parts of the metal workpiece fixed between the support die and the pressure die at a temperature lower than a softening point of a metal used as the metal workpiece from a direction perpendicular or oblique to an upright direction of the protrusions to be formed on one surface of the metal workpiece by press molding using a pressing die or a pressing jig; undergoing plastic flows of metal into through-holes formed as recessed parts that serve as female molds for forming the protrusions in at least one of the support die and the pressure die; and forming solid protrusions on the surface of the metal workpiece.
Forming system
A disclosed forming system is a forming system which expands and forms a metal pipe in a die. The forming system includes a preliminary forming apparatus which preliminarily forms a metal pipe material, a forming apparatus which includes a gas supply unit which supplies gas into the preliminary-formed and heated metal pipe material to expand the metal pipe material and a main body portion to which the die is attached, and a cutting device which cuts at least a portion of the formed metal pipe. The gas supply unit is provided so as not to be disposed on a first straight line which connects the preliminary forming apparatus and the main body portion in a plan view and a second straight line which connects the cutting device and the main body portion in a plan view.
Forming system
A disclosed forming system is a forming system which expands and forms a metal pipe in a die. The forming system includes a preliminary forming apparatus which preliminarily forms a metal pipe material, a forming apparatus which includes a gas supply unit which supplies gas into the preliminary-formed and heated metal pipe material to expand the metal pipe material and a main body portion to which the die is attached, and a cutting device which cuts at least a portion of the formed metal pipe. The gas supply unit is provided so as not to be disposed on a first straight line which connects the preliminary forming apparatus and the main body portion in a plan view and a second straight line which connects the cutting device and the main body portion in a plan view.
Coil spring compactor
A compactor that compresses the springs in at least two, preferably three different directions. One compression is achieved through actuation of a crush chamber door. At least two of the three directions of compression are perpendicular to an axis through the springs. After the final compression is performed, the compressed springs are discharged from the crush chamber in a direction parallel to the direction of the final compression.
Coil spring compactor
A compactor that compresses the springs in at least two, preferably three different directions. One compression is achieved through actuation of a crush chamber door. At least two of the three directions of compression are perpendicular to an axis through the springs. After the final compression is performed, the compressed springs are discharged from the crush chamber in a direction parallel to the direction of the final compression.

PRESSING DEVICE AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING PRESSING DEVICE
A pressing device is capable of selectively pressing either a coiled material or a sheet material. The pressing device includes a pair of bars and a first retracting mechanism. Each bar includes a holding section capable of holding the sheet material, a first end section separably linked to the holding section on an upstream side of the holding section along a conveyance direction of a material, and a second end section separably linked to the holding section on a downstream side of the holding section along the conveyance direction. The first retracting mechanism is configured to move the first end sections to an upper first retracted position during the pressing of the coiled material.
PRESS SYSTEM AND CONTROL METHOD FOR PRESS SYSTEM
A press system includes: a press device configured to perform press working on a workpiece; a detection device configured to detect a press load applied for the press working by the press device; a number acquisition device configured to acquire a number of cycles of press loading, for each section of a plurality of sections into which a press loading region over a total length of a slide stroke is divided; a stress calculation device configured to calculate a stress applied to the press device, the stress corresponding to the press load for each section of the press loading region; and a degree-of-fatigue calculation device configured to calculate a degree of fatigue of the press device, based on respective stresses applied to the press device and respective numbers of cycles of press loading, for the plurality of sections of the press loading region.
