The tray further includes a second portion engaged with the first portion, the second portion including a plurality of panels comprising flange panel and a plurality of upper side panels foldably connected to the flange panel, the plurality of upper side panels and the plurality of lower side panels are attached to form a plurality of sidewalls of the tray.
Article carrier and blank therefor
Aspects of the disclosure relate to a package, an article carrier, and a blank (810) for forming the article carrier. An aspect of the invention provides an article carrier comprising a plurality of primary panels (812,814,816) at least partially extending around an interior of the article carrier. The plurality of primary panels comprises a first side panel (812), a top panel (814), a second side pane (816)1 and at least one bottom panel joined together to form a tubular structure having first and second opposed open ends. The article carrier comprises a carrying handle (H) including a handle feature defined in at least the top panel and a foldable handle structure (HS) having opposed connecting panels and a handle strap. The handle strap extends (882) between the connecting panels.
Device and method for liquid-tight sealing of two partially overlapping packaging parts and containers Produced therewith/thereby
A device for liquid-tight sealing of two partially overlapping packaging components. One of these is a tubular basic body. A further packaging component forms the packaging head or bottom, having at least one mandrel and one die. For the tubular basic body to be easily slid on to the mandrel and removed the expansion elements have sealing jaws which, in their working position, form a closed, encircling outer contour.
PAPER-BASED COMPOSITE CONTAINER FOR OFF-GASSING PRODUCTS, AND METHOD FOR MAKING SAME
A substantially paper-based composite container for an off-gassing product includes a paperboard can body having a substantially gas-impervious liner attached to an inner surface thereof, and a pair of substantially paper-based end closures attached to the opposite ends of the can body, each end closure defining a generally cylindrical sealing panel in contact with an inner surface of the can body. Heat-sealable materials are disposed on opposing surfaces of the sealing panel and can body. The sealing panels of the end closures are attached to the can body by heat seals. The heat seal for at least one of the end closures is discontinuous such that at least one vent channel extends through the heat seal so as to establish fluid communication between an interior of the composite container and the environment outside the composite container. The at least one vent channel is operable to vent excess gas pressure from the interior of the container.
Container having a movable wall
A container for consumer goods is provided, including a box including a bottom wall, two side walls, a back box wall, a front wall, a movable container back wall, and a lid. The movable container back wall depends along a first fold line from the box, is movable about the first fold line between an open position and a closed position, and at least partially overlies the back box wall when in the closed position. The lid depends along a hinge line from the movable container back wall and is movable between the open and the closed positions. A first and a second compartment each configured to receive the consumer goods are located in the box, the first compartment is accessible when the lid is in the open position, and the second compartment is accessible when both the lid and the movable container back wall are in respective open positions.
Methods and machine for forming a two-piece blank assembly
A machine for forming a joined blank assembly from first and second blanks of sheet material includes a deck coupled to a frame, and a first transfer assembly associated with the frame. The first transfer assembly is configured to position the first blank on the deck. The machine also includes a second transfer assembly associated with the frame. The second transfer assembly is configured to position the second blank in at least a partially overlying relationship to the first blank on the deck. The machine further includes at least one compression member configured to compress the second blank and the first blank together against the deck to form the joined blank assembly.
SQUEEZE TUBE AND METHOD OF MAKING A SQUEEZE TUBE
A squeeze tube includes a fluid-discharge container and a fluid-discharge closure mated to the fluid-storage container. The fluid-discharge closure is coupled to one end of the fluid-storage container and configured to discharge selectively fluid stored in a product-storage region formed in the fluid-storage container.
Paper handle for box, and manufacturing method therefor
The present invention relates to a paper handle for a box, and a manufacturing method therefor. In order to implement this, the present invention has a box handle which has a holding part formed in the center of a body, and which has catching parts formed at both facing sides thereof so as to be insertedly fixed to fitting holes of a packaging box, wherein the body is folded at a predetermined width to form at least two layers so that both the long-side ends thereof face each other, and the catching parts are respectively formed on both short sides of the body and comprise a first wing part and a second wing part, which are continuous, formed by folding a plurality of points, having predetermined intervals in the longitudinal direction of the long side, orthogonally to the long side.
INSULATED PACKAGING AND METHOD OF MAKING SAME
Insulated packaging is provided including an inner substrate and an outer substrate attached to the inner substrate to form an air gap therebetween. An expandable material including expandable microspheres is provided with the expandable material disposed between the inner substrate and the outer substrate.
