An expandable material including expandable microspheres is provided with the expandable material disposed between the inner substrate and the outer substrate. An adhesive material different than the expandable material is disposed between the inner substrate and the outer substrate to attach the inner substrate to the outer substrate. A composite container is provided for holding one or more products (e.g., snack foods, toys, etc.) in separate compartments within the same container. The container includes a tubular body defining a first end and a second end, and the tubular body extends radially inward at a predefined location between the first and second ends to form a ledge. A separator, such as a paperboard or plastic disk, can be placed on the ledge, such that the separator defines a first compartment on one side of the separator and a second compartment on the other side of the separator. In this way, a product can be stored in the first compartment, and a product can be stored in the second compartment, and the user can have access to both in the same container. Associated methods of manufacturing a composite container with multiple compartments are also provided.

A bulk bin sleeve pack is repeatably erected to form a bulk bin having a bottom wall and a perimeter wall and collapsed when not in use. The sleeve pack includes a base that forms the bottom wall of the bulk bin. First and second wall members form the perimeter wall and are attached to one another and the base. The wall members overlap a portion of the base. Locking tabs are associated with at least one of the base and the first and second wall members. Locking openings are associated with the base and/or the first and second wall members. The locking openings oppose the locking tabs when the wall members are attached to the base to form the perimeter wall of the bulk bin. The locking tabs are lockingly inserted into the locking openings to secure the wall members to the base to form the bulk bin.

The inner box is a laminate of paperboard and an inner liner and pre-cut opening configured to provide access to an inner volume of the inner box. A pull tab covers the opening. The pull tab includes a first adhesive that releasably adheres an edge portion of the pull tab to the inner box and a second adhesive that permanently adheres the pull tab to the inner box and the outer box.

The first transfer assembly is configured to position the first blank on the deck. The machine also includes a second transfer assembly (1302) associated with the frame. The second transfer assembly is configured to position the second blank in at least a partially overlying relationship to the first blank on the deck. The machine further includes at least one compression member (1340) configured to compress the second blank and the first blank together against the deck to form the joined blank assembly.
