COSMETIC-PRODUCT PACKAGING AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURE THEREOF
There is disclosed is a cosmetic-product packaging. The cosmetic-product packaging includes an outer container, an inner container and a lid. The lid is pivotally coupled to the outer container. The outer container and the lid are provided with at least one lid projecting tab and at least one container projecting tab, such that a distal end of the lid projecting tab clips onto a distal end of the container projecting tab to secure the lid in a closed position to the outer container. The inner container is mountable within outer container. Furthermore, the inner container, in operation, accommodates a cosmetic product. The inner container is user-accessible when the lid is in open position, i.e. the distal ends of projecting tabs are spatially mutually separated, for accessing the cosmetic product. The inner container comprises customizable holding tabs and a planar side panel of the outer container is reflective.
EGG CARTON AND FORMATION APPARATUS AND METHOD
An egg carton and method and apparatus for forming an egg carton. A main body of the egg carton may be made of a single sheet of material and folded or otherwise bent to form the majority of the carton's interior space. Partition walls may be engaged with slots formed in the main body to define separate storage areas of the interior space as well as help hold the main body in the desired configuration. Hooks on the sides of the partition walls may engage with openings in the main body to secure the main body to the partition walls.
Box blank
A box blank useful for forming a container includes a first layer comprising paperboard, a second layer comprising a paper layer and a foil layer, and an adhesive layer adhering the first layer to the second layer, wherein the foil layer is between the paperboard and the paper layer.
PAPER CUP OF DUAL STRUCTURE AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING SAME
A paper cup of a dual structure according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises: an inner paper part having a plurality of diameter adjusting portions formed at predetermined angle intervals on one surface; a drink receiving part formed extending from one end of the inner paper part and bending formed into the inner portion of the inner paper part; and a drinking part formed at a boundary between the inner paper part and the drink receiving part and curled in a radially outward direction of the drink receiving part.
Packaging Apparatus and Method
A method and apparatus are shown for securing a top for a cardboard carton where the carton has a bottom wall and integral sidewalls, an initially open interior and initially open top flaps with outwardly extending ears. The top flaps are folded to a carton closing position which closes off the initially open interior of the cardboard carton. The ears are also folded to a position in contact with the sidewalls of the carton. A set of punches are aligned with the folded ears of the carton and are actuated to force a first layer of cardboard from a respective top flap through an underlying region of the carton sidewall. A set of platens are located so as to underlie and reinforce the sidewalls of the carton as the punching operation takes place.
Paper-based composite container for off-gassing products, and method for making same
A substantially paper-based composite container for an off-gassing product includes a paperboard can body having a substantially gas-impervious liner attached to an inner surface thereof, and a pair of substantially paper-based end closures attached to the opposite ends of the can body, each end closure defining a generally cylindrical sealing panel in contact with an inner surface of the can body. Heat-sealable materials are disposed on opposing surfaces of the sealing panel and can body. The sealing panels of the end closures are attached to the can body by heat seals. The heat seal for at least one of the end closures is discontinuous such that at least one vent channel extends through the heat seal so as to establish fluid communication between an interior of the composite container and the environment outside the composite container. The at least one vent channel is operable to vent excess gas pressure from the interior of the container.
METHODS AND MACHINE FOR FORMING A SHIPPING CONTAINER WITH AN ARTICLE RETAINING WEB
A method for forming a container using a machine includes extracting a blank from a magazine, transferring the blank in a blank transfer direction X, and positioning the blank on a deck. The method also includes translating a pick-up assembly from a first end to a second end along a horizontal direction Y perpendicular to the blank transfer direction X, the translating including transferring a web from a first location proximate the first end to a second location proximate the second end. The method further includes depositing, at the second location, the web into an at least partially overlying relationship with the blank to form a blank assembly, transferring the blank assembly along the deck in the blank transfer direction X while translating the pick-up assembly from the second end back to the first end, and wrapping the blank assembly around a mandrel to at least partially form the container.
THERMAL CONTAINER
The invention refers to a thermal sealing container (1) for transporting a food product, warm or cold, and a relative making process, wherein the container comprises a first tray (2) and a lid (3) for the closing and opening of the first tray (2), wherein the first tray (2) and the lid (3) each comprise an inner wall (4; 11) and an outer wall (5; 12) that is opposing to, and at a predetermined distance from, the respective inner wall (4; 11), wherein the first tray (2) and the lid (3) each have at least one interspace (6; 13) comprised between the respective inner (4; 11) and outer (5; 12) walls, and wherein the first tray (2) and the first lid (3) are made of respective sheets of die cut cardboard.
Box-in-box container
A container for consumer goods includes a rigid outer box having a hinged lid configured to provide access to an inner volume of the outer box, and a rigid inner box comprising panels separated by fold lines and assembled from an inner box blank. The inner box blank includes a top front panel separated from a top panel by a first transverse fold line, a back panel separated from the top panel by a second transverse fold line, a bottom panel separated from the back panel by a third transverse fold line, a bottom front panel separated from the bottom panel by a fourth transverse fold line, and the top panel and top front panel include side flaps. The inner box blank comprises a plurality of layers including paperboard and bundle wrap.
