Blank used for making a rapidly erected and collapsible container
A blank used for making a rapidly erected and collapsible container is disclosed. The container is movable between a flat configuration and a box configuration. The blank comprises a primary panel and a secondary panel, which are hingedly coupled to each other. The primary panel is hingedly coupled to a terminal portion. The terminal portion is hingedly coupled to a terminal flap. The secondary panel is hingedly coupled to a secondary flap. The secondary flap is configured to fold towards the secondary panel. The terminal portion is configured to fold towards the primary panel. The terminal flap is configured to connect to the secondary flap. Embodiments foster a blank used for making a container that rapidly, easily, and conveniently transitions from a flat configuration to being ready for use in a box configuration. Moreover, the container provides speed and efficiency without compromising cost effectiveness and structural integrity.
Punch and scoring system
A device for punching and scoring a medium includes a punch tool and a grooved score guide. The punch tool has a cutter configured to cut an edge of a sheet of the medium. The positioning edge is disposed on the device and configured to guide an edge of the medium and position the medium with respect to the punch tool. The grooved score guide is formed in the device and configured to match a scoring tool to create a score line in the medium. The arrangement between the punch tool and positioning edge is configured to cut a notch in the edge of the medium at a notch point. The grooved score line is disposed in relationship to the punch tool to create the score line in the medium from the notch point across the medium.
Compostable insulation for shipping container
A thermal insulation article includes a thermally insulating pad shaped to be positioned in a cavity of a rectangular prism shipping container. The pad includes a solid compostable panel formed primarily of starch and/or plant fiber pulp that holds together as a single unit, and a water-proof or water-resistant film forming a pocket enclosing the panel. The panel includes a first section, a second section, and a third section connecting the first section to the second section, the first and second section each having a central portion and two flaps that extend from the central portion beyond the third section, and wherein the panel is foldable into an open box.
USER-DEFINED BOX CREATION APPARATUS
One embodiment relates to an apparatus configured to create a box having a width and a height. The apparatus comprises a first control slider movably connected to a body. The first control slider is structured to move to a width position that alters the box width. A second control slider movably connected to the body. The second control slider is structured to move to a height position that alters the box height. A third control slider movably connected to the body, the first control slider, and the second control slider. The third control slider is responsive to the width position of the first control slider and the height position of the second control slider. A size value guide movably connected to the third control slider and is responsive to movement of the third control slider. The size value guide indicates a paper needed to create the user desired box.
Envelope Making Plate
The present patent application discloses an envelope making plate. The envelope making plate includes a plate body with a marking groove, a reference edge; and a scale line or an indication line corresponding to the type of the envelope. The plate body is divided into a working area and a non-working area by the reference edge. The envelope paper abuts against or aligns with the reference edge. One side of the envelope paper is the working area, and another side is the non-working area. The marking groove is set in the working area of the plate body and intersects with the reference edge or an extension line of the reference edge. The marking groove divides the reference edge or the extension line of the reference edge into an acute angle and an obtuse angle. The scale line or the indication line corresponding to the type of the envelope is set along the reference edge and on the side where the marking groove and the reference edge form the acute angle. A second indication line is set in the non-working area of the plate body and is perpendicular to the marking groove. An extension line or virtual extension line of the second indication line intersects with the marking groove within the working area of the plate body. It is easy to achieve a full utilization of the plate body's area when making the envelope by making the angle between the marking groove and the indication line being as an acute angle. It saves the materials of the plate body.
Envelope-outlining device
An envelope-outlining device that comprises first and second tracing members, the members being movable relative to each other. Each tracing member has a respective tracing edge, and each tracing edge has a protrusion extending from the tracing edge. A method of using the same is also disclosed.
BOX ERECTING MACHINE
A system for forming boxes includes a folding and glue module. The folding and glue module includes a side folding unit configured to fold opposing sidewalls of a box template, a glue system configured to apply glue to selected portions of the box template as the box template advances through the side folding unit, a front folding unit configured to fold front glue flaps and a front wall panel of the box template, and a rear folding unit configured to fold rear glue flaps and a rear wall panel of the box template.
METHOD OF ASSEMBLING A CASKET FROM A FOLDABLE BLANK
A casket structure and method use features built into a corrugated paper blank to temporarily retain the assembled casket body configuration while a fastening element is administered to secure the corrugated paper blank into the casket body configuration. A blank configured for such a casket structure includes a bottom panel, side panels, end panels, and flaps foldably connected to the side panels. When the blank is assembled into the casket body configuration, each flap overlaps a corresponding end panel. The end panels and overlapping flaps include a key-receiver arrangement in which a receiver is configured to engage a foldable key to at least temporarily hold each overlapping flap in direct engagement with a corresponding end panel to retain the foldable blank in the casket body configuration.
Box configuring tool and dispenser
A box configuring tool includes a base having a planar surface, a first stop positioned at a first end of the base, and a second stop positioned at a second end of the base opposing the first end of the base. The tool also includes a pair of spaced-apart walls coupled to the base to define an open-ended chute along the base's planar surface. The open-ended chute is disposed between the first stop and the second stop. The open-ended chute has a tapered-width portion contiguous with a constant-width portion.
