LAMINATING MACHINE
A laminating machine comprises at least one material source, configured as a sheet feeder, for sheets of a material to be laminated. The laminating machine further comprises at least one laminating unit. The laminating machine also comprises at least two lamination sources, each for at least one web-type laminating material. The laminating machine additionally comprises at least one laminating unit for producing a material web, which is laminated on both sides, from the sheets and the respective at least one laminating material. At least one lamination control device is disposed downstream of a laminating region of the laminating unit, along a transportation path provided for the transporting of the laminated material web. The control device monitors a control region, lying outside a transport region that is occupied by the transportation path provided for the laminated material web.
MULTI-PLY FIBROUS STRUCTURE-CONTAINING ARTICLES
Articles, for example multi-ply fibrous structure-containing articles such as multi-ply sanitary tissue products, containing two or more fibrous structure plies, and more particularly to multi-ply articles containing two or more fibrous structure plies having a plurality of fibrous elements wherein the articles exhibit improved bulk and absorbent properties compared to known articles and methods for making same, are provided.

DEVICE FOR PRODUCING PACKAGING MATERIAL FROM PAPER
The invention relates to a device and a method for producing packaging material from two paper webs, wherein shaped regions are created from at least one of the paper webs, the shaped regions projecting beyond the paper web and each being limited by a closed circumferential line in the paper web plane, and the paper webs, at their ends facing each other, consist exclusively of paper and are free of adhesive and connecting synthetic auxiliary material, in particular free of plastics film, and preferably after preconditioning of the paper webs are pressed against each other in such a way that, in connecting portions between the shaped regions, paper fibers of the one paper web are connected to paper fibers of the other paper web and the paper webs limit closed cavities in the region of the shaped regions.
MULTILAYER PRODUCT OF PAPER-LIKE MATERIAL, IN PARTICULAR OF CANNET? OR CORRUGATED CARDBOARD TYPE
A multilayer product made of paper-like material, includes at least one corrugated layer bonded to a first flat layer of cannet?. A least one corrugated layer is constituted by a sheet of cannet? which is shaped so as to form a wave. A method is also related for providing a multilayer product made of the paper-like material.
IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
An image forming apparatus includes: a needleless binding device configured to form a recessed or raised impression as a needleless binding part by performing needleless binding on a bundle of sheets; an environment sensor; and a controller configured to perform, based on a value detected by the environment sensor, control to display a confirmation image requesting a user to make confirmation on the needleless binding prior to execution of the needleless binding.
BINDING APPARATUS
A binding apparatus includes: a first toothed part including teeth arranged in one direction; and a second toothed part that includes teeth arranged in the one direction and is configured to mesh with the first toothed part and to press a bundle of sheets, wherein at least one first groove is formed between adjacent teeth of the first toothed part, the first groove has cross-sectional areas at central and end portions in a direction orthogonal to the one direction and a direction in which the first and second toothed parts mesh with each other, the one direction and the orthogonal direction are normal to the cross-sectional areas, and the cross-sectional area at the end portion is larger than the cross-sectional area at the central portion.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR THE POST-PROCESSING OF SEQUENTIALLY PRINTED SHEETS
An apparatus and method for the post-processing of successively following, sequentially printed sheets, includes a conveyor, a folding table, a folding sword, a folding roller pair, at least one pressing-down mechanism, and a machine control that is operatively connected to the folding sword and the pressing-down mechanism. The pressing-down mechanism includes at least one mechanical braking element which acts in the region of the back edge onto the top side of the printed sheet to be positioned on the folding table. The stationary folding sword includes a compressed-air device with at least one outlet opening for compressed air which is focused onto a folding roller gap. The folding table forms a gathering device for at least two successively following printed sheets. A sensor, arranged in a region of the conveyor, is operatively connected to the machine control and functions to detect the printed sheets, transported with the conveyor.
Method of manufacturing paper sheet
A method of manufacturing a paper sheet with improved softness and the paper sheet are provided. A method of manufacturing a paper sheet 101 according to the present invention includes a supply step of supplying a continuous base sheet 1, 1A, or 1B, and a plurality of times of pressing steps of applying, to a surface of the base sheet 1, 1A, or 1B, pressing force having a normal-direction component of the surface.
A METHOD AND A MACHINE FOR PRODUCING A CARDBOARD STRIP FOR PACKAGING FROM A FIRST PLURALITY OF CARDBOARD SHEETS FOR PACKAGING WHICH ARE CYCLICALLY UNITED TO ONE ANOTHER
A method for producing a cardboard strip for packaging from a first plurality of cardboard sheets for packaging which are cyclically united to one another. The method includes providing a first plurality of cardboard sheets each having a first perimeter portion extending along a first flank of the cardboard sheet and a second perimeter portion extending along the second flank of the cardboard sheet and further includes reducing the thickness of first perimeter portion and the second perimeter portion of a given cardboard sheet. The given cardboard sheet and another cardboard sheet are approximated to one another, so that the second perimeter portion of the given cardboard sheet and the first perimeter portion of the other cardboard sheet, of reduced thickness from a preceding cycle, are mutually superposed. The second perimeter portion of the given cardboard sheet and the first perimeter portion of the other cardboard sheet are affixed to one another.
