Heat-treated PVC-plastic panel
A method of treating PVC plates as well as plates and panels manufactured by this method. The plates and panels, in particular wall, ceiling or floor panels, comprise a heat-treated carrier plate based on polyvinyl chloride with a density of, for example, 900 to 2,500 kg/m.sup.3 and a film applied thereon. The film is a thin PVC-film and comprises a decorative pattern directly printed thereon.
Compostable laminate structure
A compostable laminate for food wrap and method for making same. The wrap can include a first layer of paper material, a second layer of paper material, and a series of coatings between the paper materials. The coatings include a first flood coating having water and/or barrier properties, a second flood coating having water and/or oil barrier properties, and a third coating that only partially covers the second flood coating. None of the first, second and third coatings comprise a thermoplastic or polyolefin, and are made substantially from one or more biodegradable and/or compostable materials.

DECORATIVE MEMBER AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREFOR
The present disclosure relates to a decoration element comprising a light reflective layer; a light absorbing layer provided on the light reflective layer; and a color developing layer comprising a color film provided on a surface opposite to the surface facing the light absorbing layer of the light reflective layer, between the light reflective layer and the light absorbing layer, or on a surface opposite to the surface facing the light reflective layer of the light absorbing layer.
Joining carbon laminates using pulsed laser irradiation
A method for bonding two elements, the method including receiving first and second elements, the first element being a composite material; applying a laser-based treatment to a surface of the first element to obtain a treated surface; patterning the treated surface to have plural trenches; applying an adhesive to one of the first and second elements; and joining the first element to the second element so that the adhesive is between the first and second elements.
PADDING LAYER FOR ATHLETIC FIELD
Various embodiments for a pad that may be combined with other similar pads to form a padding layer of an athletic field, or other surface, are disclosed. The pad includes a top surface and a bottom surface. Bottom-side projections are positioned on the bottom surface of the pad. Water channels are positioned on the bottom surface of the pad defined as a recessed area between individual ones of the bottom-side projections. A drainage hole is positioned in at least one of the bottom-side projections such that the drainage hole does not connect with any of the water channels on the bottom surface.
BUFFER MATERIAL
A buffer material is a material including a buffer sheet that contains cellulose fibers and a binding material binding the cellulose fibers and has a sheet shape, and a nonwoven fabric sheet that is provided on at least one surface side of the buffer sheet and is formed of nonwoven fabric. Further, a thickness T2 of the nonwoven fabric sheet is 5% or greater and 90% or less of a thickness Tl of the buffer sheet. Further, a basis weight of fibers in the nonwoven fabric sheet is less than a basis weight of the cellulose fibers in the buffer sheet.
Composite film for home appliance and refrigerator with composite film attached
A composite film for a home appliance according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a first film part partially formed of metal material and forming an outer appearance, a second film part formed on one surface of the first film part and formed of resin material, an adhesive part formed on one surface of the second film part and adhering to injection products constituting the home appliance, and a plurality of exhaust grooves that are recessed in the adhesive part and extend from one end to the other end of the adhesive part to discharge air between the adhesive part and the injection products.
