PLANTS HAVING INCREASED TOLERANCE TO HERBICIDES
The present invention refers to a method for controlling undesired vegetation at a plant cultivation site, the method comprising the steps of providing, at said site, a plant that comprises at least one nucleic acid comprising a nucleotide sequence encoding a wild-type hydroxyphenyl pyruvate dioxygenase or a mutated hydroxyphenyl pyruvate dioxygenase (mut-HPPD) which is resistant or tolerant to a HPPD-inhibiting herbicide and/or a nucleotide sequence encoding a wild-type homogentisate solanesyl transferase or a mutated homogentisate solanesyl transferase (mut-HST) which is resistant or tolerant to a HPPD-inhibiting herbicide, applying to said site an effective amount of said herbicide. The invention further refers to plants comprising mut-HPPD, and methods of obtaining such plants.

Injectable fibrin composition for bone augmentation
The present invention relates to a biodegradable injectable composition for bone augmentation comprising fibrin, a contrast agent and calcium salt-containing particles, as well as a method for bone augmentation in a patient suffering from a bone disorder comprising injecting said composition into a non-mineralized or hollow portion of said bone.
Combination of catalytic mTORC1/2 inhibitors and selective inhibitors of Aurora A kinase
Disclosed are methods for the treatment of proliferative disorders. Disclosed in particular, are methods for treatment of proliferative disorders such as cancer, by administering an mTORC1/2 inhibitor in combination with a selective inhibitor of Aurora A kinase. Preferred MTORC1/2 inhibitors include MLN0128 and the preferred Aurora A kinase inhibitor of the combination is MLN8237.
Formulations having improved compatibility with nonwoven substrates
Nonwoven and elastomeric substrates having formulations disposed thereon, wherein the formulations have improved compatibility with the substrate, are disclosed herein. More particularly, the formulations can be applied on the substrates without compromising the elastomeric properties and overall integrity of the substrate. Laminated articles using one or more of the nonwoven and elastomeric substrates having the formulations disposed thereon are further disclosed.
Inhibition of DUX4 expression using bromodomain and extra-terminal domain protein inhibitors (BETi)
The use of BETi as a potential treatment for FSHD is provided. Specifically, the use of BETi, and particularly selective BETi for BRD4, are shown to inhibit DUX4 expression which is expected to result in a decrease in the severity of symptoms of FSHD. Further, the treatments are shown to work when pulsed as opposed to continuous. This allows for a BETi to be supplied to a human in a pulse, and then allows the human to not need any additional treatment for a window at least as long as the one of the treatment pulse.
Hydrobromide salt of pridopidine
This invention relates to a new salt of Pridopidine, a drug substance currently in development for the treatment of Huntington's disease. More specifically the invention provides the pharmaceutically acceptable hydrobromide salt, pharmaceutical compositions comprising this salt, and uses of this salt as a drug substance.
BIORATIONAL TREATMENT PRODUCTS AND METHODS OF USING SAME
A composition is provided comprising an effective treatment amount of a biorational treatment concentrate comprising one or more plant oils and/or glycerol in combination with a carrier, and one or more colorants and/or one or more active ingredients, wherein the composition is formulated to treat a target crop. Related products and methods of using same are also provided.

Herbicidally active 2-(substituted-phenyl)-cyclopentane-1,3-dione compounds and derivatives thereof
The present invention relates to a compound of formula (I): wherein the substituents are as defined herein, and wherein the compound of formula (I) is optionally present as an agrochemically acceptable salt thereof. These compounds are thought to be suitable for use as herbicides. The invention therefore also relates to a method of controlling weeds, especially grassy monocotyledonous weeds, in crops of useful plants, comprising applying a compound of formula (I), or a herbicidal composition comprising such a compound, to the plants or to the locus thereof. ##STR00001##
