A multilayered heat-recoverable article according to the present invention includes a cylindrical base material layer and an adhesive layer disposed on an inner peripheral surface of the base material layer, in which the base material layer contains a polyethylene and an oxidation inhibitor, the adhesive layer contains an ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer and an oxidation inhibitor, the oxidation induction temperature of the base material layer is 255 C. to 270 C., and the oxidation induction temperature of the adhesive layer is 255 C. or higher.

Oxygen Scavenging Films

The invention discloses oxygen scavenging films having at least one oxygen scavenging layer comprising a blend of ethylene/methyl acrylate/cyclohexene methyl acrylate copolymer (EMCM) as oxygen scavenger resin and a catalyst in a carrier resin, and an outer substrate layer having a thickness greater than 5% with respect to the total thickness of the film. The invention also relates to a process for the manufacturing of such films, to the use of said films in food packaging and to the packages obtained therefrom.

The present invention is an assembly layer for a flexible device. The assembly layer is derived from precursors in eluding at least one of a physically cross-linked silicone elastomer and a covalently cross-linked silicone elastomer forming reagent mixture, and a MQ resin. Within a temperature range of between about 30 C to about 90 C, the assembly layer has a shear storage modulus at a frequency of 1 Hz that does not exceed about 2 MPa, a shear creep compliance (J) of at least about 610.sup.6 1/Pa measured at 5 seconds with an applied shear stress between about 50 kPa and about 500 kPa, and a strain recovery of at least about 50% at at least one point of applied shear stress within the range of about 5 kPa to about 500 kPa within about 1 minute after removing the applied shear stress.
