COMPOSITE PANEL HAVING PERFORATED FOAM CORE AND METHOD OF MAKING THE SAME
A panel for a trailer and a method of making the same is provided. The trailer includes a front wall, a rear wall opposite the front wall, a first sidewall, and a second sidewall. The first sidewall is formed by a first continuous laminate panel that extends an entire length of the first sidewall, and the second sidewall is formed by a second continuous laminate panel that extends an entire length of the second sidewall. The first continuous laminate panel and the second continuous laminate panel each comprise a first skin, a second skin opposite the first skin, and a perforated core between the first skin and the second skin.
VAPOR PERMEABLE, WATER RESISTIVE, AIR BARRIER POLYESTER MEMBRANE HAVING A POLYACRYLIC COATING WITH POROUS PRESSURE SENSITIVE ADHESIVE ADDED TO THE REAR SURFACE OF THE MEMBRANE
An ultra violet stable polyester membrane with a polyacrylic coating on one side and a coated pressure sensitive adhesive coating on its other side capable of allowing water vapor to pass through it. The pressure sensitive adhesive is formed of a copolymer comprising a backbone of n-butyl acrylate, 2-ethylhexyl acrylate, and vinyl acetate which is mixed with at least one surfactant and emulsified to produce air bubbles which form pores when the copolymer is set with about 80% to about 90% of the pore sizes ranging from about 200 microns to about 300 microns and being uniformly distributed to form a flow path through the pressure sensitive adhesive.
Nasal Inhaler Band
An exemplary nasal inhaler band is fitted on the upper lip below the nasal openings of a user. The device provides minimal restriction of ambient airflow into the nostrils during inhalation, while also providing a flow of beneficial vapors into such airflow. A main body of the device has an outer layer adapted to hold vapor-releasing solids, liquids or gels. The outer layer is air-permeable and absorbent. The main body also has a base layer contacting the upper lip. The base layer is impermeable, so that volatile solids, liquids or gels do not come into contact with the user's skin. The main body is held in position in contact with the nose and upper lip by elastic straps extending back from ends of the main body to wrap around the user's ears.
Self adhesive fouling release coating composition
A multilayer self-adhesive fouling release coating composition includes an optional removable underlying liner; an adhesive layer applied over and to the optional underlying liner when the latter is present; and a synthetic material layer applied over and to the adhesive layer. Optionally, an intermediate silicone tie coat is applied over and to the synthetic material layer. A silicone fouling release top coat is applied over and to the synthetic material layer, or, when present, over and to the intermediate silicone tie coat. Optionally, a removable polymeric film is applied over and to the fouling release top coat.
RECYCLABLE FABRIC LAMINATE
A composition may comprise a fabric substrate having a first melting temperature and a polymer sheet having a second melting temperature, wherein the second melting temperature may be less than the first melting temperature. The polymer sheet and the fabric substrate may have a base thermoplastic polymer in common. The polymer sheet may be at least partially melted and laminated onto the fabric substrate such that the polymer sheet and fabric substrate become fused to produce a fused laminated fabric. A recycling process may be performed on the fused laminated fabric, wherein the fabric substrate and the polymer sheet remain laminated throughout the recycling process.
Oxygen scavenging films
The invention discloses oxygen scavenging films having at least one oxygen scavenging layer comprising a blend of ethylene/methyl acrylate/cyclohexene methyl acrylate copolymer (EMCM) as oxygen scavenger resin and a catalyst in a carrier resin, and an outer substrate layer having a thickness greater than 5% with respect to the total thickness of the film. The invention also relates to a process for the manufacturing of such films, to the use of said films in food packaging and to the packages obtained therefrom.
Composite panel having perforated foam core and method of making the same
A method of forming a composite panel in-line is disclosed. The method includes the steps of forming a hot thermal plastic sheet of material and providing the hot thermal plastic sheet of material to a punch having punch members extending outwardly therefrom. The hot thermal plastic sheet of material is advanced through the punch in order to form apertures through the hot thermal plastic sheet of material such that each aperture extends from an outer surface of the hot thermal plastic sheet of material to an inner surface of the hot thermal plastic sheet of material. An outer metal sheet and an inner metal sheet, respectively, are coupled to opposing sides of the hot thermal plastic sheet of material.
Films with enhanced scuff resistance, clarity, and conformability
Compositions which are well suited for forming into machine direction orientation (MDO) films are described. Multilayer films containing one or more layers of the compositions and/or films are also described. Additionally, label assemblies utilizing the multilayer films, labeled substrates, and related methods are described. Various versions of the multilayer films are described including films having at least two skin layers and an interior core layer. Particular multilayer films are described having polyethylene rich cores.
PREPREG, LAMINATE, AND MOLDING
An object of the present invention is to provide a prepreg and a laminate for producing a laminate suitable as a structural material, which have excellent joining strength and interlaminar fractural toughness values and can be firmly integrated with another structural member by welding. The present invention provides a prepreg including the following structural components, [A] reinforcing fibers, [B] an epoxy resin, and [C] a thermoplastic resin, wherein all epoxy resins included in [B] have an average epoxy value of 2.0 meq./g or more and 5.0 meq./g or less, [C] is present in a surface of the prepreg, and the reinforcing fibers [A] are present, which are included in a resin area including [B] and a resin area including [C] across an interface between the two resin areas.
