PREFORM FOR MULTILAYER CONTAINER COMPRISING A POLYETHYLENE FURANOATE LAYER
A preform for multilayer container having a polyethylene furanoate layer includes an outer layer defining an exterior surface and including poly(ethylene terephthalate) and an inner barrier layer including semi-crystalline poly(ethylene furanoate) where the semi-crystalline poly(ethylene furanoate) of the inner barrier layer has a crystallinity in the range of 3 to 10%.
Resin-coated metal sheet for container
A resin-coated metal sheet for a container includes: a metal sheet; a first resin coating layer provided on an inner face of the metal sheet after forming; and a second resin coating layer provided on an outer face of the metal sheet after forming, the second resin coating layer containing: polyester resin having a melting point of 230° C. to 254° C. as a main component; and a lubricant component, a melting point of the lubricant component being 80° C. to 230° C., an average particle diameter of the lubricant component present on a surface of the second resin coating layer being 17.0 nm or less.
GAS BARRIER FILM
A gas barrier film includes a substrate containing polypropylene as a main component, a gas barrier layer on a first surface of the substrate, and a coating layer on the gas barrier layer. Infrared spectroscopy of the first surface indicates a peak intensity (I1) at 1360 to 1390 cm.sup.−1 and a peak intensity (I2) at 1440 to 1480 cm.sup.−1 in a ratio satisfying the formula: (I1)/I(2)≤1.65.
RECYCLABLE FILM FOR THERMOFORMING
Recyclable films having at least a first layer containing a high-density polyethylene, a second layer containing a high-density polyethlene and a hydrocarbon resin, and a third layer containing a high-density polyethylene may be used for thermoforming packaging components. The film structure is advantageous as it can be more easily thermoformed than traditional high-density poly-ethylene films and can maintain the shape taken during thermoforming, exhibiting minimal warping or shrinking.
HIGH PERFORMANCE RECYCLABLE LID
The film structure has a first exterior layer having a high-density polyethylene and an inorganic particle, a second exterior layer having a polyethylene-based material for sealing, and an interior layer having a high-density polyethylene, a nucleating agent and a hydrocarbon resin. The film may be use as a heat-sealable lid component for packaging and offers high moisture barrier, good heat resistance, and push-through and/or child-resistance performance while maintaining an overall composition acceptable for recycling.
RECYCLABLE FILM FOR THERMOFORMING
Recyclable films having at least a first layer containing a high-density polyethylene and a nucleating agent, a second layer containing a high-density polyethylene and a third layer containing a high-density polyethylene and a nucleating agent may be used for thermoforming packaging components. The film structure is advantageous as it can be more easily thermoformed that traditional high-density polyethylene films and can maintain the shape taken during thermoforming, exhibiting minimal warping or shrinking.
THERMOPLASTIC EPOXY MATERIALS WITH CORE SHELL PHASE
A composite article (30), comprising at least one fibrous layer (12), and at least one thermoplastic epoxy web layer (14) located in direct planar contact with the at least one fibrous layer (12), the at least one thermoplastic epoxy web layer (14) being adapted to substantially phase separate during a molding and/or curing process.
Manufactured product for covering surfaces and related processes of realization and laying
The manufactured product for covering surfaces comprises a first decorative layer having a visible face and a laying face opposite to the visible face, the laying face being adapted to be turned towards a laying surface to be covered, and a second layer arranged on the laying face of the first layer and made of a magnetic material or a metal material.
Pre-filled radius layups
A void between two or more composite laminate parts is filled by a composite laminate filler that is laid up and integral with at least one of the parts.
Silicone based self-adhering article and a method for making same
An article includes a non-tacky cured silicone first layer, an optional foamed material and a tacky cured silicone second layer wherein the first layer is directly bound to the second layer and the article is conformable to a body part. The article removably adheres to a body part. Also described is a method of making the article.
