METHOD OF PROVIDING INSULATION TO A STRUCTURE
The present invention relates to a method of providing thermal and/or acoustic insulation to a structure, comprising the steps of: providing a substrate which comprises fibres; applying the substrate to the structure; blending the substrate with a binder composition before, during or after application of the substrate to the structure; allowing curing of the binder composition after the substrate and the binder composition have been applied to the structure; wherein the binder composition comprises at least one hydrocolloid. The present invention also relates to an insulated structure obtainable by said method.
BINDER COMPOSITION
The invention relates to an aqueous binder composition for mineral fibers comprising at least one hydrocolloid.
A FIRE-PROTECTING INSULATION PRODUCT AND USE OF SUCH PRODUCT
A fire-protecting insulation product has air-laid mineral wool fibres and a binder. The binder is the result of curing a binder composition comprising at least one hydrocolloid. The product further comprises a particulate endothermic material.
A METHOD OF BONDING TOGETHER SURFACES OF TWO OR MORE ELEMENTS AND A PRODUCT MADE BY SAID METHOD
A method of bonding together surfaces of two or more elements. The method includes the steps of providing two or more elements, applying an adhesive to one or more of the surfaces to be bonded together before, during or after contacting the surfaces to be bonded together with each other, and curing the adhesive, wherein the adhesive comprises at least one hydrocolloid.

Sound insulating sheet material with a cellular structure including gelatine and/or a process for producing the same
A composition for producing a sheet material with a cellular structure, the composition including the following components: (a) about 5 to about 25 weight % gelatine, (b) about 25 to 60 weight % filler material, (c) about 15 to about 40 weight % water, and (d) a cellular structure promoting agent.
Method of fabricating a thermally insulating stretchable down feather sheet and the product therefrom
A method of fabricating a thermally insulating stretchable down feather sheet is described. The core of the sheet is comprised of down mixed with a binder mixture which exhibits elastic properties. The binder mixture consists of heat fusible stretchable glue particles and heat fusible elastomeric binding strands in dry form. The core is sandwiched between a bottom and a top stretchable elastomeric sheet having multi-directional stretchability. The core of down and the binder as well as the elastomeric sheet are bound together by heat treatment to provide a down insulating sheet which is stretchable in all directions without fractioning the sheet and which is capable of recovering substantially its original relaxed form after stretching or deformation.
A METHOD OF PRODUCING A MINERAL WOOL PRODUCT COMPRISING A MULTIPLE OF LAMELLAE AND A PRODUCT OF SUCH KIND
A method and a mineral wool product include a multiple of lamellae, such as a sandwich panel core. The product includes a plurality of lamellae cut from a mineral wool web, and bonded together by applying an adhesive on the surfaces of two adjacent lamellae to form a web-like product, wherein the adhesive comprises at least one hydrocolloid.
MINERAL WOOL PRODUCTS
The invention relates to a mineral wool product comprising mineral fibres bound by a cured binder wherein the binder in its uncured state comprises at least one protein, and at least one enzyme.
METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING A PRODUCT MAINLY MADE OF PAPER INCLUDING, THEREIN, AT LEAST ONE RADIO-FREQUENCY ELECTROMAGNETIC WAVE TRANSCEIVER
Disclosed is a method for manufacturing a product mainly made of paper including at least one radio-frequency electromagnetic wave transceiver adapted both to receive at least a first predefined signal and to emit, upon receiving the first signal, at least a second signal, also predefined. To implement the method, it is first necessary to prepare at least two sheets, mainly made of paper, such as two sheets of paper. Glue is applied to one of the sheets, the transceiver, such as an RFID tag or an NFC tag, is applied to the other sheet. The two sheets are then coupled, calendered and subjected to a finishing cut. The transceiver is programmable in any step of the method.
