RECYCLABLE FABRIC LAMINATE
A composition may comprise a fabric substrate having a first melting temperature and a polymer sheet having a second melting temperature, wherein the second melting temperature may be less than the first melting temperature. The polymer sheet and the fabric substrate may have a base thermoplastic polymer in common. The polymer sheet may be at least partially melted and laminated onto the fabric substrate such that the polymer sheet and fabric substrate become fused to produce a fused laminated fabric. A recycling process may be performed on the fused laminated fabric, wherein the fabric substrate and the polymer sheet remain laminated throughout the recycling process.
Methods for making multilayer dental aligners
A multilayer sheet comprising first and second layers is provided. The first layer consists of a co-polyester. The second layer consists of a thermoplastic polyurethane elastomer having an elongation at break of greater than 200%, a hardness of 60A to 85D, an ultimate tensile strength of greater than about 5000 psi, and a light transmission between 400 nm and 800 nm of greater than about 75%. A mold is provided and the multilayer sheet is thermoformed over the mold to form a plurality of tooth-receiving cavities configured to receive and reposition a patient's teeth from a first arrangement toward a second arrangement. Excess material is trimmed from the thermoformed multilayer sheet to form a multilayer dental aligner.
Fibrous structures comprising three or more regions
Fibrous structures containing filaments and solid additives, and more particularly to fibrous structures containing filaments and solid additives wherein the fibrous structure has three or more regions that exhibit different characteristics and/or properties and methods for making same, are provided.
Exterior building component and method for manufacturing the same
An exterior building component with a distinct surface topography and a method for manufacturing the same. A substrate, a barrier film, and an adhesive are provided together with a finishing sacrificial coating. The adhesive has pressure sensitive characteristics in a temperature range including a temperature below barrier film embossment temperature. The temperature of a surface of the substrate and the barrier film is adjusted to the barrier film embossment temperature. The adhesive is disposed onto at least one of the surface of the substrate and the barrier film. The barrier film is then disposed onto the surface of the substrate and embossed such that the surface topography of the substrate is replicated in a substantially identical fashion using a roller at low pressure and short pressure application time. The barrier film is then, if needed, finished with a weather-resistant coating compatible with commercially available architectural exterior paints and lacquers for refinishing as required.
Multilayer polymer sheets
Multilayer polymer sheets are provided, as well as related methods, systems, and appliances.
POLYOLEFIN RESIN MODIFIER, POLYOLEFIN RESIN COMPOSITION, MODIFIED POLYOLEFIN RESIN FILM, AND LAMINATED FILM
Polyolefin resin modifiers are provided that contain a nonionic surfactant, an organic sulfonate salt, and an inorganic salt. The organic sulfonate salt can be at least one selected from the group consisting of alkylsulfonic acid alkali metal salts whose alkyl group has 6 to 22 carbon atoms, alkylarylsulfonic acid alkali metal salts whose alkyl group has 6 to 22 carbon atoms, and sulfonic aliphatic ester alkali metal salts whose alkyl group has 6 to 22 carbon atoms. The inorganic salt can be at least one selected from the group consisting of sodium sulfate, potassium sulfate, calcium sulfate, lithium sulfate, sodium chloride, potassium chloride, lithium chloride, magnesium chloride, and calcium chloride.
Sealant film, laminate film, and packaging material
A sealant film is provided in which a surface resin layer (A), an adhesive resin layer (B), a release resin layer (C), and a heat seal resin layer (D) are laminated. The adhesive resin layer (B) contains a thermoplastic elastomer (b1) and a tackifier resin (b2). The release resin layer (C) contains 40% by mass or more of an ethylene ionomer (c1) with a polar group concentration exceeding 5.5 mol % in a resin component contained in the release resin layer (C). The release resin layer (C) further contains 0 to 60% by mass of an ethylene ionomer (c2) with a polar group concentration of 5.5 mol % or less in the resin component contained in the release resin layer (C). The heat seal resin layer (D) contains an ethylene resin (d1).
