UNDERLAY MAT FOR FLOOR COVERINGS

A resolving issue of manufacturing an underlay mat enabling the easy installation, which meets high requirements regarding utility properties and durability despite low costs of materials and production, as well as good tolerance by the natural environment. This task is fulfilled by the underlay mat for floor coverings, which contains: the foamed polystyrene layer, the PET (polyethylene terephthalate) film on the top side of the polystyrene layer, the layer of adhesive applied on the PET film and the removable protective layer applied on the layer of adhesive.

1) Multilayer film comprising: an adhesive layer A consisting of an extrudable hot-melt pressure-sensitive adhesive composition; a hot-sealable and splittable layer B consisting of a composition b; a complexable layer C consisting of a composition c;
said film being characterized in that one of the compositions b and c is a composition f based on a thermoplastic material P, said composition f comprising, on the basis of its total weight, from 0.005 to 1% by weight of a thermoplastic fluorinated (co)polymer F.

2) Process for producing said film by co-extrusion.

3) Use of said film for producing reclosable packagings.

Tile Containing Primer Coated Substrates with Good Adhesion

A tile comprising the following components: A) a first film formed from a first composition comprising the following: i) a functionalized olefin-based polymer comprising one or more chemical groups selected from the following: a) a carboxylic acid, and/or b) an anhydride, and, optionally, c) an amino or an amine; and ii) a functionalized styrenic block copolymer, comprising, in polymerized form, styrene, and ethylene and/or at least one alpha-olefin, and comprising one or more chemical groups selected from the following: a) a carboxylic acid, and/or b) an anhydride; and B) a substrate comprising at least one layer formed from a second composition comprising a propylene-based polymer; and wherein the first film covers at least one surface of the substrate.

Construction sheathing and methods of making and using same

A laminated building sheathing comprises a rigid foam board and a facer. The rigid foam board comprises a drainage pattern formed on a major surface of the foam board. The drainage pattern comprises a drainage channel. The facer is configured to cover the major surface of the rigid form board and to essentially conform to the drainage pattern. The facer is semi-permanently bonded to the drainage channel but permanently bonded to non-channel planar portions of the major surface.

Heat-shrinkable multilayer film and heat-shrinkable label

The present invention provides a heat shrinkable multilayer film which has excellent adhesiveness between front and back layers and an interlayer not only at normal temperature but also at low temperature to effectively prevent delamination and is less likely to have residual white streaks along creases. The present invention also provides a heat shrinkable label including the heat shrinkable multilayer film. The present invention relates to a heat shrinkable multilayer film including: front and back layers each containing a polyester resin; an interlayer containing a polystyrene resin; and adhesive layers, the front and back layers and the interlayer being stacked with the adhesive layers interposed therebetween, the adhesive layers each containing 20 to 65% by weight of a polystyrene resin and 35 to 80% by weight of a polyester elastomer.

ELASTIC NON-WOVEN FABRIC MANUFACTURED BY BONDING A PRE-STRETCHED ELASTIC FILM AND ELASTIC CLOTHS
20200254720 · 2020-08-13 · ·

An elastic non-woven fabric, manufactured by bonding a pre-stretched elastic film and elastic cloths, includes an elastic film with a stretch range of 0-300% and two elastic cloths each with a stretchability of 150-300%. While at the second natural width, the two elastic cloths are respectively bonded to upper and lower surfaces of the elastic film pre-stretched to a first stretched width. By bonding the two elastic cloths to the elastic film after stretching the elastic film in advance, the elastic non-woven fabric of the present invention can have high stretchability and high tensile strength and thus will not have serious wrinkles on the surfaces thereof and will not be easily torn broken. Because the stretchability of the elastic non-woven fabric is greatly improved, the user can use a smaller cutting width to divide each cylindrical master-roll into more cylindrical sub-rolls, thereby improving the production efficiency.

APERTURED ELASTIC FILM LAMINATES
20200254715 · 2020-08-13 ·

An elastic laminate is provided including at least one gathered outer facing layer of a fabric and an apertured elastic film attached thereto. The aperture film includes a series of alternating first and second segments that extend continuously along the direction of elasticity. The first segments of the film are substantially devoid of any apertures and the second segments are strewn with apertures of irregular size and shape. The regionally limited and irregular apertures are formed by the controlled rupturing of the film within those segments. The elastic laminate has excellent air-permeability and elastic properties.
