Photochromic polyurethane laminate
A photochromic polyurethane laminate that is constructed to solve certain manufacturing difficulties involved in the production of plastic photochromic lenses is disclosed. The photochromic laminate includes at least two layers of a resinous material and a photochromic polyurethane layer that is interspersed between the two resinous layers and which contains photochromic compounds. The polyurethane layer is formed by curing a mixture of a solid thermoplastic polyurethane, at least one isocyanate prepolymer, at least one photochromic compound, and a stabilizing system.

A decorative sheet including: a material sheet of which a surface roughness R1 on a front side is greater than a surface roughness R2 on a back side; a first adhesive layer provided on the front side of the material sheet; a thin film layer provided above the front side of the material sheet via the first adhesive layer; a second adhesive layer provided on the back side of the material sheet; and a sheet support layer provided below the back side of the material sheet via the second adhesive layer, in which each of the layers is integrated as one sheet, and an air layer exists on an interface between the first adhesive layer and a trough of an uneven shape on the front side of the material sheet.

According to at least one embodiment, there is provided a hard coat laminated film, including, from a surface layer side, a second hard coat, a first hard coat, and a transparent resin film layer, where the first hard coat and the transparent resin film layer are laminated directly, where the first hard coat is formed of a coating material including: (A) 100 parts by mass of a polyfunctional (meth)acrylate; and (B) 1 to 100 parts by mass of an N-substituted (meth)acrylamide compound, where the second hard coat is formed of a coating material containing no inorganic particles, and where the transparent resin film is a transparent multilayer film or a transparent monolayer film made of a poly(meth)acrylimide resin, where the transparent multilayer film includes a surface layer made of a poly(meth)acrylimide resin, the first hard coat being formed on the surface layer.

An aircraft window composed of a monolithic interior pane made of polymer material and of a laminated exterior pane made of glass that are separated by an air-filled space, wherein the laminated exterior pane consists of two glass sheets bonded by an adhesive interlayer, and wherein the thickness of the exterior glass sheet is between 0.2 and 2.6 mm, and the thickness of the interior glass sheet is between 0.2 and 2.1 mm.

A laminated glass 1 includes a resin plate 2 as a core material, a first glass sheet 4 disposed on one surface side of the resin plate 2 via a first adhesive layer 3, and a second glass sheet 6 disposed on the other surface side of the resin plate 2 via a second adhesive layer 5. A heat reflective film 7 is disposed in the first adhesive layer 3, and a heat absorbing film 8 is disposed in the second adhesive layer 5, the heat absorbing film 8 functioning as a light absorbing member capable of absorbing a portion of incident light. The heat reflective film 7 is disposed closer to the first glass sheet 4 than the heat absorbing film 8 is.

TRANSPARENT COMPOSITE BODY PANELS WITH LOCALIZED STRUCTURAL REINFORCEMENTS FOR MOTOR VEHICLES
Presented are multilayer composite panels for motor vehicles, methods for making/using such panels, and motor vehicles with transparent composite roof panels having localized reinforcement features. A sandwich-type multilayer composite panel contains one or more exterior layers each including a transparent rigid material, one or more bonding layers each including a transparent adhesive material, and one or more structural reinforcement layers each including a fiber-reinforced polymer material. Each structural reinforcement layer may be attached directly to a bonding layer and/or exterior layer. The composite panel may also include one or more IR-reflective layers, one or more light-absorbing sunshade layers, and one or more insulating low-k layers. The multilayer body panel has a plan-view profile; the individual layers extend substantially the entire length and width of the plan area, whereas the fibers in each structural reinforcement layer are localized to one or more discrete regions within the plan-view profile.

THREE-DIMENSIONAL COLD FORMED CURVED COMPOSITES
The disclosure relates to composites comprising: a cold-formed decorated or non-decorated glass substrate having first and second major surfaces; a metal or polymeric substrate having first and second major surface; and at least one adhesive located between the glass substrate first major surface and the metal or polymeric substrate first major surface; the glass substrate first and second major surfaces and the metal or polymeric substrate first and second major surfaces defining at least one curvature, the at least one curvature having a bend radius of about 60 mm or greater; wherein the composite maintains adhesion between the glass substrate and the metal or polymeric substrate following physical testing according to a modified GMW3172 environmental and durability test.
Multilayer body
A multilayer body includes at least one layer (A) made of a polycarbonate resin (A) whose main repeating units include a unit (a-1) composed of an ether diol residue represented by the following formula (1) and a unit (a-2) composed of a diol residue represented by the following formula (2), and at least one layer (B) containing an aromatic polycarbonate resin (B), wherein the molar ratio of the unit (a-1) is 50 to 96 mol % and the molar ratio of the unit (a-2) is 4 to 50 mol %, with respect to 100 mol % of the total repeating units of the polycarbonate resin (A) and the proportion of the aromatic polycarbonate resin (B) in the layer (B) containing an aromatic polycarbonate resin (B) is 30% by weight or more, and the multilayer body is excellent in heat resistance, impact resistance, surface hardness, adhesion, and chemical resistance. ##STR00001##
