A first aspect of the present invention is an adhesive composition comprising one or more polyisocyanates and one or more phosphate-functional polyols. A second aspect of the present invention is a method of bonding two substrates together to form a bonded article, said method comprising the steps of applying a layer of the composition of the first aspect to one of said substrates, contacting said layer of the composition of claim 1 to a second substrate, and curing or allowing to cure the composition of claim 1. A third aspect of the present invention is a bonded article formed by the method of the second aspect.

DIMENSIONAL ENHANCEMENT OF ARTIFICIAL LEATHER POLYURETHANE COMPOSITE MATERIAL

A composite material formed by combining a polyurethane material with an unclickable foam layer and a scrim layer through roll and flat form technology. The composite material is embossed to form pillowlike chambers or cells delineated by a network of emboss pattern lines formed by the bonding between these layers.

Shockwave Controlled Ballistic Protection

A transparent composite armor is made of tens to hundreds or even thousands of thin layers of material each with a thickness of 10-500 μm. An appropriate amount of impedance mismatch between the layers causes some reflection at each interface but limit the amplitude of the resulting tensile wave below the tensile strength of the constituent materials. The result is an improvement in ballistic performance and that will result is a significant impact in reducing size, weight, and volume of the armor.

TRANSPARENT POLYMER HARDCOATS WITH ANTIMICROBIAL EFFICACY

Transparent polymeric hardcoats with antimicrobial efficacy are described along with compositions for preparing the hardcoats. The transparent polymeric hardcoats at appropriate thicknesses can provide optical properties of high optical transmission, low haze and high clarity, and are suitable for use in electronic displays designed for commercial applications intended for high consumer use. Touch screens having the transparent polymeric hardcoats are also described.

URETHANE ADHESIVE FOR LAMINATED SHEETS
20170267902 · 2017-09-21 ·

Disclosed is an adhesive for laminated sheets comprising a urethane resin obtained by blending: (A) an acrylic polyol; (B) at least one component selected from carboxylic acids and carboxylic anhydrides; and (C) an isocyanate compound. The acrylic polyol (A) is obtained by polymerization of a polymerizable monomer, has a glass transition temperature of from −35° C. to 20° C., and has a hydroxyl value of from 0.5 to 40 mgKOH/g. The adhesive for laminated sheets is excellent in initial adhesion to a film, peel strength after aging and hydrolysis resistance for a long time under high temperature when a laminated sheet is produced, and wherein the adhesive does not impart an adverse effect to the appearance of the laminated sheet and the lamination process of films while improving the curability. The laminated sheet is suitably prepared using the adhesive for laminated sheets. An article comprising the laminated sheet can be prepared using the laminated sheet.

A MULTILAYER STRUCTURE AND A PACKAGING COMPRISING THE SAME

A multilayer structure comprising a maleic anhydride functionalized polyolefin layer applied to a metal containing layer is provided. Further provided is a packaging comprising the multilayer structure.
