The invention provides a varnish produced through reaction between a compound having an amino group and a resin having a functional group capable of reacting with an amino group, and having a polycyclic structure, wherein a portion of a plurality of the functional group of the resin is caused to react with the amino group of the compound in a solvent, and also a varnish produced through reaction between a compound having a phenolic hydroxyl group and a resin having a functional group capable of reacting with a phenolic hydroxyl group, and having a polycyclic structure, wherein a portion of a plurality of the functional group of the resin is caused to react with the phenolic hydroxyl group of the compound in the solvent. The invention also provides a prepreg, a resin-coated film, a metal-foil-clad laminate, and a printed wiring board produced by use of any of the varnishes.

The porous substrate is surrounded by the nanofiber web except for an upper edge of the porous substrate to form a protruding portion. The apparatus further includes: a discharge pipe connected to the outlet and including a fixing portion fixed to the protruding portion of the porous substrate and a connection tube connected to the fixing portion and connected to the outlet; and a pump connected to the outlet for pumping the purified water out of the housing.

The present disclosure is directed to peelable, heat-sealable lidding films for containers of diverse polymer compositions storing various products such as foodstuffs and pharmaceuticals. The lidding films disclosed herein can be heat-sealed to crystalline polyester trays (CPET), easily peeled, and contain improved antifogging performance by incorporating a non-migratory antifogging additive into the heat sealable layer of the film without deteriorating seal strengths.

An acoustic blanket absorbs acoustic energy and reduces noise in a launch vehicle. The acoustic blanket may be overlaid on a wall of a payload fairing of the launch vehicle. Materials and construction of the acoustic blanket allow for a relatively thin and light sound barrier. The acoustic blanket may comprise vertically-lapped polyester that is overlaid with a lightweight melamine foam. This combination of materials creates an acoustic impedance mismatch between layers that leads to absorption of acoustic energy across a relatively broad range of frequency bands. The acoustic blanket has a particular heat seal pattern that helps absorb noise while allowing the acoustic blanket to be relatively soft and flexible, which is useful for attaching the acoustic blanket to a curved wall of a fairing or other launch vehicle shapes. The acoustic blanket utilizes micro-perforations on multiple sides to allow for movement of air/venting while maintaining the bulk materials inside.

The carbon material-polymer strain sensitive film includes multiple layers of carbon sensitive films and multiple layers of polymer films, wherein the multiple layers of carbon sensitive films and the multiple layers of polymer films form a multi-layer composite film in sequence through a layer-by-layer assembly process. The preparation method includes steps of: cleaning, processing a hydrophilic treatment and processing a hydrophobic treatment on a rigid substrate in sequence; preparing a carbon material in dispersion solution and a polymer dispersion solution; through a layer-by-layer self-assembly process, growing the polymer and the carbon material in a form of layer-by-layer on the rigid substrate; transferring the composite film from the rigid substrate to a flexible substrate; and pasting two electrodes at two ends of the composite film and encapsulating with a flexible film.
