20190106357 · 2019-04-11 ·

A pre-fractured glass laminate that includes: a glass substrate comprising a thickness, a pair of opposed primary surfaces, a compressive stress region, a central tension (CT) region and a plurality of cracks; a second phase comprising a polymer or a cured resin within the plurality of cracks; a backing layer; and an interlayer disposed between one of the primary surfaces of the substrate and the backing layer. The compressive stress region extends from each of the primary surfaces to a first selected depth in the substrate. Further, the plurality of cracks is located in the CT region.

To make membranes, a plurality of membrane substrates are each wetted with a curable liquid mixture, arranged in a stack such that every pair of substrates are separated by at least one film, and moved simultaneously through a common curing region. Each wetted substrate sheet may be sandwiched between two films. After curing, the stack comprises two or more membranes with each pair of membranes separated by a film. An apparatus for making membranes comprises at least two substrate feeding devices, at least one film feeding device, one or more chemical wetting devices, a curing region, optionally, a stack separating region, and, optionally, a membrane binding or fusing region. Membrane production rate may be increased while the curing energy required per unit area of membrane is decreased. The method can make, for example, ion exchange membranes.

TRANSDERMAL DEVICE INCLUDING POROUS MICROPARTICLES

The present invention relates to a transdermal device including porous microparticles capable of containing an active principle, in particular nicotine, and to the use thereof as a drug, in particular for tobacco cessation. The present invention further relates to a method for preparing a transdermal device including porous microparticles filled with an active principle.

VAPOR DEPOSITION MASK WITH METAL PLATE

A method for producing a vapor deposition mask capable of satisfying both enhancement in definition and reduction in weight even when a size increased, a method for producing a vapor deposition mask device capable of aligning the vapor deposition mask to a frame with high precision, and a method for producing an organic semiconductor element capable of producing an organic semiconductor element with high definition are provided. A metal mask provided with a slit, and a resin mask that is positioned on a front surface of the metal mask and has openings corresponding to a pattern to be produced by vapor deposition arranged by lengthwise and crosswise in a plurality of rows, are stacked.

Backplate, support frame for backlight unit, backlight unit and display device

The present invention relates to the display technology field, and provides a backplate, a plastic-iron integrated structure, a backlight unit, and a display device. The backplate is provided with a first through hole, and the first through hole has an inner wall and an outer wall which form a projection structure on the backplate. When the backplate is bonded with a plastic frame to form the plastic-iron integrated structure, the plastic frame not only contacts the inner wall of the first through hole, but also contacts the surface of the projection structure, thus increasing the contact area between the plastic frame and the backplate, and increasing the bonding force between the plastic frame and the backplate. Even when the plastic frame shrinks in case of fluctuations in temperature and/or humidity, the plastic frame is not easily separated from the backplate, and the stability of the formed plastic-iron integrated structure is improved.

An internal tensioning structure for use in an inflatable product fulfills the basic function of maintaining two adjacent inflatable surfaces in a desired geometric arrangement when the inflatable product is pressurized. The tensioning structure is formed by connecting a pair of plastic strips sheets via spaced-apart strands, such as strings or wires. When pulled taut, the strands provide a high tensile strength between the two opposed plastic strips. At the same time, the plastic strips facilitate a strong, long-lasting weld between the tensioning structure and the inflatable product.
