The system of the invention may find use in any of these fields.

A multilayer film (10) having excellent mechanical strength and transparency comprise a core layer (12), at least two skin layers, and at least two sub-skin layers disposed between the core layer (12) and the two skin layers. The core layer (12) comprises at least 60 wt. % linear low density polyethylene (LLDPE). The sub-skin layers comprise at least 60 wt. % low density polyethylene (LDPE). The skin layers comprise at least 80 wt. % of LLDPE wherein the LLDPE comprises C6 LLDPE, C8 LLDPE, or combinations thereof, and each skin layer has a thickness of less than 25% of the overall thickness of the multilayer film (10). The multilayer film (10) comprises at least 0.1 wt. % ultraviolet stabilizer.

The present invention relates to a single-layer or multilayer coated polyester film having a transparency of at least 92%, with the polyester film having a first surface and a second surface, in which a permanent anti-fog coating has been applied to at least one of the surfaces of the polyester film and the anti-fog coating includes at least one water-soluble polymer, an inorganic, hydrophilic material and a crosslinker. The water-soluble polymer is a polyvinyl alcohol or a hydrophilic polyvinyl alcohol copolymer. The first region may have a thickness of at least 10% greater than a thickness of the second region. A resin composition contains: (A) an ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer having an ethylene structural unit content of 20 to 60 mol %; (B) a saponified ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer having an ethylene structural unit content of not less than 70 mol %; and (C) a sorbic acid ester; wherein the sorbic acid ester (C) is present in an amount of 0.00001 to 10 ppm based on the weight of the resin composition. The resin composition is resistant to coloration.

The present invention relates to a multi-layer film comprising at least three layers, with two outer layers, and one core layer, wherein: the core layer comprises an ethylene copolymer comprising 1-octene and having a density between >0.910 g/cm.sup.3 and 0.925 g/cm.sup.3, wherein further the first outer layer comprises an ethylene homopolymer having a density of between >0.915 g/cm.sup.3 and 0.930 g/cm.sup.3, wherein further the second outer layer comprises and optional first ethylene copolymer and a second ethylene copolymer having a density of between 0.850 g/cm.sup.3 and <0.890 g/cm.sup.3. Such film demonstrates improved cling properties and further provides benefits in that a.o. migration of components from this film during storage and use at elevated temperatures is reduced.
