METALLIZED PACKAGING FILMS FROM RECYCLED PLASTICS
The invention relates to a multilayer plastic film, in particular a multilayer plastic composite film, preferably a multilayer plastic packaging film, based on plastic recyclate (recycled plastic), in particular based on plastic recyclate originating from waste, with a plastic recyclate content of at least 80 wt. %, based on the plastic film, and with barrier layer properties (barrier properties) to water vapor and/or gases (preferably oxygen), preferably with barrier layer properties (barrier properties) to water vapor and gases (preferably oxygen), and the use of this multilayer plastic film, in particular as packaging material. The plastic recyclate is preferably post-consumer plastic recyclate (PCR plastic recyclate), in particular PCR recycled films.
ADHESIVE FILM FOR METAL TERMINAL, METAL TERMINAL WITH ADHESIVE FILM FOR METAL TERMINAL, POWER STORAGE DEVICE USING SAID ADHESIVE FILM FOR METAL TERMINAL, AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING POWER STORAGE DEVICE
An adhesive film which is for a metal terminal and exhibits high adhesion strength to a metal terminal, when heated and pressurized a plurality of times before being adhered to the metal terminal. This adhesive film for a metal terminal is interposed between: a metal terminal electrically connected to an electrode of a power storage device element; and an exterior material for a power storage device that seals the power storage device element. The adhesive film for a metal terminal has a tensile elastic coefficient A of at least 490 MPa, when measured in an environment of a temperature of 25° C., after being left standing for 12 seconds in a heating and pressurizing environment of a temperature of 180° C. and a surface pressure of 0.0067 MPa, and after being left standing for 1 hour in an environment of a temperature of 25° C.
Woven irrigation tubing, apparatus and method of making same
Woven irrigation tubing comprising a woven, extrusion coated & laminated tube formed of a high density polyethylene (HDPE) outer layer, a low density polyethylene (LDPE) middle layer and a linear low density polyethylene (LLDPE) inner layer. The finished tubing is treated for ultraviolet resistance. The tubing is tied off at a distal end with a proximal end connected to a pressurized irrigation source. Watering holes are created in the tubing at spaced intervals and the resulting water streams are directed into parallel plowed furrows. The tubing is completely recyclable. The tubing is formed by manufacturing tape for the woven outer tubing cover, stretching the tape along its length to strengthen it, weaving the outer layer from the tape, flattening the woven outer layer, extrusion coating each surface of the outer layer with LDPE, laminating the LLDPE inner layer to the LDPE, reversing and winding the tubing for storage and distribution.
POLYMERIC NONWOVEN STRUCTURE FOR USE IN HIGH TEMPERATURE APPLICATIONS
A fibrous structure including one or more nonwoven material layers comprising a fiber matrix, where the fiber matrix comprises polymeric binder fibers having a softening and/or melting temperature of about 190° C. or greater, where the article is adapted to withstand temperatures of about 190° C. or greater while in use; and where the article is a thermoacoustic insulation material.
Ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer, method of producing ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer, resin composition, and multilayer structure
An ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer has an ethylene content of 20 to 60 mol % and includes a carboxylic acid group and a lactone ring group present at terminals thereof, wherein the molar concentration (Y/Z) of a lactone ring molar content (Y) to a sum (Z) of a carboxylic acid molar content (X) and the lactone ring molar content (Y) is not less than 58 mol %. The ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer is excellent in high-temperature thermal stability substantially without thermal decomposition, and is free from odor emanation and coloration even if being processed at a higher temperature.
Net replacement film
A prestretched polyethylene film is provided having a longitudinal degree of prestretching in the range of from 100% to 400% and a remaining longitudinal elongation capability in the range of from 100% to less than 300% as determined according to ASTM D882. The film comprises at least 25% by weight of a linear low density polyethylene (LLDPE) substantially free from long chain branching (LCB) and having a density below 915 kg/m.sup.3. The film is particularly useful as a net replacement film in the baling of compressed bulk material, such as silage, and may offer to users improved flexibility and reliability and/or increased yield.
Landscape edging with a stone surface and manufacturing method and installation system thereof
A landscape edging for use on a stone surface, the edging solving the problem that known edging has a poor shaping effect, is higher in cost and cannot satisfactorily harmonize with vegetation. The landscape edging comprises an edging body, the edging body having flexibility, and an outer wall thereof being provided with a decoration layer made of stone granules. When in use, an isolation belt can satisfactorily harmonize with the surrounding environment, and has a certain flexibility, can achieve better shaping, has a better usage effect and is a good substitute for an existing landscape edging.
Multilayer foam films and methods for making the same
Multilayer foam films including a core layer and two skin layers, (i) the core layer including the product of the combination of an LDPE composition, at least one blend partner and at least one foaming agent; and (ii) the two skin layers each independently including the product of the combination of an ethylene 1-hexene copolymer and at least one additive; wherein the core layer is disposed between the two skin layers, are provided. Methods for making the multilayer foam films are also provided.
Multilayer article suitable for use of storage bag for agricultural products
A multilayer article having at least one layer of an ethylene vinyl alcohol (EVOH) resin composition comprising of an ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer, an unmodified ethylene-α-olefin copolymer and acid modified ethylene-α-olefin copolymer as described below, which is suitable for use in making (or as) a storage bag for agricultural products, food, drink, pharmaceutical, cosmetic, industrial chemical, detergent products.
Extensible flexible hose, and method and production line for continuously manufacturing thereof
A hose that includes an inner layer and an outer layer made of an elastic polymeric material, and a textile reinforcement layer interposed between the inner and the outer layers. The inner layer and the outer layer are reciprocally coupled to form a unitary tubular member, within which the textile reinforcement layer is embedded. The unitary tubular member has an elasticity such to automatically elongate under the working pressure given by the liquid flowing therethrough to increase its original length and to automatically recover once the working pressure stops. The textile reinforcement layer is adapted to move from a rest configuration when the working pressure stops to a working configuration when the unitary tubular member elongates under the working pressure, and vice versa.
