ACRYLIC RUBBER EXCELLENT IN WATER RESISTANCE
An acrylic rubber excellent in water resistance and a method for producing the same are provided. An acrylic rubber composed of: 70 to 99.9 wt % of a bonding unit derived from (meth) acrylic acid ester; 0.1 to 10 wt % of a bonding unit derived from a cross-linkable monomer; and if necessary, 0 to 20 wt % of a bonding unit derived from another monomer, wherein the ash content is 0.5 wt % or less, the total amount of magnesium and phosphorus in the ash is 30 wt % or more, a ratio of the magnesium to the phosphorus ([Mg]/[P]) by weight is 0.4 to 2.5, and Mooney viscosity (ML1+4, 100° C.) of the rubber is 10 to 150 is particularly excellent in water resistance, and a rubber cross-linked product using the same is also excellent in physical properties.
Adhesive compositions based on grafted resins
A curable adhesive that is particularly well suited for use in an injection or compression molding operation. The adhesive is based on polymeric resins having carboxylic acid and acrylate ester functionality, such as grafted phenoxy resin, and further constituents such as organic carbonates, blocked isocyanates, catalysts, maleimide compounds, hydride sources, and a carrier fluid. The curable adhesives are particularly well suited for bonding liquid injectable substrates such as liquid silicone rubber, or polyamides to rigid substrates, such as aluminum, stainless steel, or glass.
Multi-layer papermaker's forming fabric with auxiliary bottom MD yarns
A papermaker's fabric includes a series of repeat units, wherein each of the repeat units includes: a set of top machine direction MD yarns having a first diameter; a set of bottom MD yarns having a second diameter larger than the first diameter; a set of auxiliary bottom MD yarns having the first diameter; a set of top cross machine direction CMD yarns interwoven with the top MD yarns to form a top fabric layer; a set of bottom CMD yarns interwoven with the bottom MD yarns and the auxiliary bottom MD yarns to form a bottom fabric layer; and a set of stitching yarns arranged in pairs, wherein at least one of the stitching yarns of the pair interweaves with the top and bottom fabric layers.
Wrapping tape for repelling insects and long object using same
An aspect of the present invention relates to a wrapping tape for repelling insects, the wrapping tape having a number of male engagement elements on a front surface of a tape, and a number of loop-shaped engagement elements on a rear surface of the tape, wherein the male engagement elements and the loop-shaped engagement elements can be engaged each other, and an insect repellent component is applied at least to the front surface of the tape and the male engagement elements.
Intermediate transfer members
The present disclosure relates to an intermediate transfer member for use in electrophotographic printing. The intermediate transfer member comprises a release layer comprising fluoropolymer particles dispersed in a silicone polymer matrix.
Wrappable protective sleeve with closure and locating feature and methods of construction and use thereof
A wrappable protective sleeve for providing protection to at least one elongate member contained therein and methods of construction and use thereof are provided. The sleeve includes a flexible textile wall having opposite inner and outer faces bounded by opposite edges and opposite ends. The opposite edges extend generally parallel to one another between the opposite ends. A pair of adhesive layers is bonded to the inner face, with each of the adhesive layers being spaced from one another. The adhesive layers extend between the opposite ends adjacent the opposite edges. Further, a release paper is releasably adhered to the pair of adhesive layers for subsequent removal and use of the sleeve.
NON-WOVEN BACKING FOR PRESS FELT, METHOD FOR PRODUCING NON-WOVEN BACKING, AND PRESS FELT
A press felt is provided including a non-woven base fabric material formed of a first fabric structure, with the first fabric structure including an array of MD yarns connected with at least one layer of a hot melt adhesive web material and at least one layer of a non-woven backing. The non-woven backing includes a layer of a first yarn system and a layer of a second yarn system oriented transverse to the first yarn system. At least one of the first and second yarn systems includes a low melt temperature adhesive that is heat activated and binds the first and second yarn systems together. The nonwovenbase fabric material has an MD length and CD width and is arranged in two superimposed layers joined by the MD oriented yarns at CD oriented fold regions at each of two opposing ends thereof.
WOVEN BASE FABRIC WITH LASER ENERGY ABSORBENT MD AND CD YARNS AND TISSUE PRODUCT MADE USING THE SAME
A structured tissue belt assembly including a supporting layer, a non-woven web contacting layer, and one or more laser welds that attach the bottom surface of the web contacting layer to the top surface of the supporting layer. The structured tissue belt assembly allows for air flow in x, y and z directions. In exemplary embodiments, the structured tissue belt assembly has an embedment distance between the supporting layer and the web contacting layer of 0.05 mm to 0.60 mm and a peel force between the web contacting layer and the supporting layer of at least 650 gf/inch.
FABRIC INCLUDING REPAIRABLE POLYMERIC LAYER WITH SEAM FOR PAPERMAKING MACHINE
The present invention provides for manufacturing processes of structuring fabrics that contain a web contacting layer with seams that do not cause defects in the sheet that can result in sheet breaks during the paper machine process. Structuring fabrics with a web contacting layer that can have damaged sections replaced rather than replacing the entire structuring fabric, which is costly and time consuming, are also provided. Additionally, a process for manufacturing the web contacting layer by laying down polymers of specific material properties in an additive manner under computer control (3-D printing) is provided.
