HYBRID FABRIC-LAMINATED BELT FOR ELEVATOR SYSTEM
A traction-driven belt for moving a load includes a plurality of tension elements extending longitudinally along a length of the belt, and a plurality of yarns interlaced with the plurality of tension elements forming a composite belt structure. A laminate material layer is affixed to at least one surface of the composite belt structure to improve one or more performance properties of the composite belt structure. A belt for suspending and/or driving an elevator car includes a plurality of tension elements extending longitudinally along a length of the belt, and a plurality of yarns interlaced with the plurality of tension elements forming a composite belt structure. A sheath encloses at least one tension element of the plurality of tension elements. The sheath is formed from a flowable material to bind the tension element to the plurality of yarns, and/or adjacent tension elements.
Deflecting Member for Making Fibrous Structures
A deflection member that includes a reinforcing member and a plurality of tiles fastened to the reinforcing member.
TRANSMISSION BELT
Disclosed is a power transmission belt having a belt body made of rubber, and a cord embedded in the belt body so as to form a helical pattern having a pitch in a belt width direction. The cord is coated with an adhesion layer formed by an adhesion treatment and containing a rubber component, and the adhesion layer is in contact with a rubber composition containing cellulose-based fine fibers.
Fixing apparatus for minimizing abrasion of contact surface between heater and fixing belt
An example fixing unit includes a flexible fixing belt, a backup member located outside the fixing belt to form a fixing nip, and a plate heater in contact with the fixing belt to heat the fixing belt in the fixing nip, wherein the fixing belt includes a first abrasion prevention layer disposed on a surface facing the plate heater and including polyetheretherketone (PEEK), and the plate heater includes a second abrasion prevention layer in contact with the first abrasion prevention layer and including glass.
LOW-FRICTION MEMBER, IMAGE-FORMING DEVICE, AND AGENT FOR FORMING LOW-FRICTION COATING FILM
A problem addressed by the present invention is to provide a low-friction member which does not easily lose low-friction properties thereof even when used for a relatively long period. The low-friction member LS according to the present invention is consisting of at least lubricating materials PL, PS and a polyimide resin MR. The low-friction member has a surface roughness Rsk or 0.500 or more and the surface exposure ratio of the lubricating materials of 15.0% or more. It is particularly preferred that the surface roughness Rsk be in a range of 0.0900 (inclusive) to 0.1400 (inclusive), and the surface exposure ratio of the lubricating materials be 35.0% or more. It is preferred that the lubricating materials be a fluororesin. The low-friction member thus has the property of not losing the low-friction properties thereof easily even when used for a relatively long period.
Collar Structure for Pets
A collar structure for pets includes a belt with a first elastic layer, a soft ribbon layer and a second elastic layer, wherein the soft ribbon layer is sandwiched between the first elastic layer and the second elastic layer, and an end of the belt is fixed onto a connector body while the other end of the belt wraps around a target position and penetrates through the connector body such that the other end of the belt can be fixed onto the connector body. Seeing that any one or ones of the first elastic layer, the soft ribbon layer or the second elastic layer is/are made of materials having at least a pesticide or fragrance additive, the collar structure for pets according to the present invention can achieve the effects of disinsection or aroma.
Articles and methods of making the same
The invention provides an article comprising a first layer and a second layer, and wherein the first layer is formed from a first composition comprising an ethylene/-olefin/diene interpolymer, an isoprene rubber (synthetic), a natural rubber, a butadiene rubber, a styrene butadiene rubber, a chloroprene rubber, a nitrile rubber, a hydrogenated nitrile rubber, a chlorinated polyethylene, a chlorosulfonated polyethylene, an ethylene/propylene rubber, an ethylene/diene copolymer, a fluoro rubber, a polyurethane, a silicone rubber, or a combination thereof; and wherein the second layer is formed from a second composition comprising a butyl rubber, a halobutyl rubber, polyvinylidene chloride, a brominated polymer derived from a copolymer of isobutylene and p-methyl styrene, a nitrile rubber, a chloroprene rubber, a chlorosulfonated polyethylene, a chlorinated polyethylene, a polyurethane, a fluoro rubber, or a combination thereof.
