Process For Molding Cover Materials For Seating Applications
A seat trim cover for an automotive seat is formed into a 3-dimensional shape by compression molding a laminated moldable foam in a 3-dimensional. The laminated moldable foam comprises at least a layer of cellular polyurethane foam compression moldable in a temperature range of about 220° F. to about 260° F. The 3-dimensional mold is heated to a temperature range of about 150° F. to about 320° F. The layer of cellular foam is adhered to a cover material layer and pre-cut into a pre-laminated blank prior to molding into the 3-dimensional shape. Optionally, seat heaters or other components can be integrated with the laminated foam prior to compression molding the seat trim cover.

A polycarbonate resin composition may include a first polycarbonate resin and a second polycarbonate resin, which a molded article may include, and a multilayer body may have a resin layer A including the polycarbonate resin composition and a resin layer B including a resin different from the resin layer A. The polycarbonate resin composition may have two or more glass transition temperatures.

A laminated sheet includes a first porous layer including a plurality of fibers of at least one of inorganic fiber or carbonized fiber; and a second porous layer formed of a plurality of organic fibers, wherein the laminated sheet has a surface density of greater than or equal to 400 g/m.sup.2 and less than or equal to 1550 g/m.sup.2, wherein the second porous layer is formed of the plurality of organic fibers having a mean diameter of fibers being greater than or equal to 0.5 μm and less than or equal to 14 μm, and wherein, expressing a total volume of solids and voids filling a unit volume of the second porous layer as 100%, a percentage of the solids is greater than or equal to 1.0% and less than or equal to 8.0%.

[Problem] The objective of the present invention is to provide a resin sheet that has a favorable tactile sensation and no less than a certain light transmittance and a molded article thereof.
[Solution] A resin sheet that has hair-like bodies arranged regularly on at least one surface of an underlayer and in which a continuous phase is formed without any structural boundary between the underlayer and the hair-like bodies, wherein the average height of the hair-like bodies is no less than 30 μm and no greater than 500 μm, the total light transmittance of the resin sheet measured in accordance with JIS K 7136-1 is no less than 0.1% and no greater than 20%, and the contrast ratio of the resin sheet measured in accordance with JIS K 5600 4-1 is no less than 70% and no greater than 98%.
