Multilayer oriented shrink films include a skin layer and a base layer; the skin layer being on one side of the base layer, characterized in that the skin layer comprises at least one amorphous styrene-butadiene block copolymer and the base layer has a thickness greater than said skin layer and includes a polypropylene terpolymer, a polybutene-1 copolymer, a polypropylene elastomeric copolymer and at least one copolymer from the group consisting of styreneethylene/butene-styrene triblock copolymers, styrene-ethylene/propylene-styrene triblock copolymers, styrene-ethylene/butene diblock copolymers, styrene-ethylene-propylene diblock copolymers, and combinations of two or more of said triblock and diblock copolymers.
POLYESTER RESIN BLEND, POLYESTER FILM AND PREPARATION METHOD THEREOF
The present disclosure relates to a polyester resin blend, a polyester film and a preparation method of the same. The polyester resin blend is capable of providing a heat shrinkable label that is transparent and has excellent shrinkage even if it contains recycled polyethylene terephthalate as well as virgin polyethylene terephthalate. In addition, the heat shrinkable label can be reused while attached to a PET container, etc., and is expected to be useful for providing continuously usable plastics that have been recently attracting attention.
MULTILAYER FILM FOR APPLYING LABELS ON ITEMS OF CLOTHING
A multilayer film (8) for applying a label (4) to a fabric support (2) by hot pressing includes a lower layer (8a), a barrier layer (8b) and an upper layer (8c). The lower layer (8a) is substantially made of copolyamide, the barrier layer (8b) is substantially made of EVOH, and the upper layer (8c) is substantially made of copolyamide. The film is particularly effective for limiting the migration of pigments from the fabric to the label.
ORIENTED MULTILAYER SHRINK FILMS WITH AMORPHOUS COPOLYESTER SKIN LAYERS
A multilayer, oriented shrink film includes a core layer, skin layers on opposed sides of the core layer, and an interlayer between each skin layer and the core layer for bonding each skin layer to the core layer. The core layer comprises a polypropylene terpolymer, at least one polybutene-1 copolymer and at least one polypropylene elastomeric copolymer including ethylene. At least one skin layer comprises at least one amorphous glycol-modified polyethylene terephthalate. At least one interlayer includes a polypropylene terpolymer and an ethylene copolymer with vinyl acetate or methyl acrylate. The shrink film has a shrinkage of greater than 50% at 95° C. in one of the machine direction and transverse direction of film formation and has a density below 1.0 g/cm3.

This decorative film is to be bonded to a resin molded body by means of thermoforming, and comprises a sealing layer (I) that contains a polypropylene resin (A) and a layer (II) that contains a polypropylene resin (B). The polypropylene resin (A) satisfies the requirement (a1), while the polypropylene resin (B) satisfies the requirement (b1). (a1) The melt flow rate (MFR (A)) (at 230° C. under a load of 2.16 kg) is more than 0.5 g/10 minutes. (b1) The melt flow rate (MFR (B)) (at 230° C. under a load of 2.16 kg) and the MFR (A) satisfy relational expression (b-1). MFR (B)<MFR (A) (b-1).
Print board capable of being separated into pieces after printing thereon
A print board capable of being printed on and then separated into one or more pieces. The print board includes a main layer, a printable layer secured to a first side of the main layer and a pressure sensitive layer secured to a second side of the main layer. The print board is kiss cut through the printable layer, the main layer and a releasable portion of the pressure sensitive layer to form the one or more pieces. A base layer of the pressure sensitive layer holds the one or more pieces together so that personalized projects may be printed thereon. The personalized projects are printed on the printable layer and then the base layer of the pressure sensitive layer is removed. After the base layer is removed the print board is broken into the one or more pieces.
LAMINATE AND HOT MELT-TYPE ADHESIVE LABEL
Provided is a laminate and a hot melt-type adhesive label that suppress curling due to swelling while having a pulp-paper feel. The laminate includes a porous substrate layer and an adhesive resin receiving layer on one side of the porous substrate layer, and the adhesive resin receiving layer contains an amorphous resin.
ALKALI-DISPERSIBLE HOT MELT PRESSURE-SENSITIVE ADHESIVE
The object of the present invention is to provide an alkali-dispersible hot melt pressure-sensitive adhesive which (i) has a high alkali-dispersibility, (ii) is excellent in strength to retain the label, (iii) hardly causes an adhesive residue problem and (iv) is capable of reducing stringing. The present invention relates to an alkali-dispersible hot melt pressure-sensitive adhesive comprising: (A) a thermoplastic block copolymer which is a copolymer of a vinyl-based aromatic hydrocarbon and a conjugated diene compound, (B) a tackifier resin and (C) at least one selected from the group consisting of a fatty acid and a derivative thereof, wherein the thermoplastic block copolymer (A) comprises (A1) a styrene-based block copolymer having a styrene content of less than 40 mass % and the tackifier resin (B) comprises an α-methylstyrene-based resin.
Label and manufacturing method
A method of manufacturing a label with a suspension handle includes providing a first layered material including a support layer and a releasable first front layer. A front surface of the first front layer is coated with a first detachment promoter layer, leaving a zone free of the first promoter layer. A handle area of the first promoter layer is coated with a second detachment promoter layer. A second layered material includes a second front layer and an adhesive layer. While the second detachment promoter layer is wet, the components are coupled, so the adhesive layer adheres to the free zone. The second detachment promoter layer-adhesive layer solidifies to bind the layers. In the second layer thickness, a suspension handle is separated from the handle area. A secondary label is superposed only over the first layer detachment promoter, and forms a label surround in the first front layer.
REPOSITIONABLE ADHESIVE ARTICLES FOR STRETCH RELEASE REMOVAL
The present disclosure relates to adhesive article that include a first, stretch releasable adhesive and patterned adhesive elements on, within, or partially embedded in a surface of the adhesive. The adhesive elements can act as spacers between the adhesive surface and the mounting surface to prevent full contact and wet out of the first adhesive, whereby the article can be removed from the wall and placed at a new location without damage to the wall surface or the article. Once the final location is selected, the separation created by the engineered elements can be overcome by applying sufficient pressure; the first adhesive can contact and adhere more permanently to the wall. Thus, a stretch releasable adhesive articles of the present disclosure can move freely relative to the desired mounting surface, while developing additional tack and holding power after sufficient pressure is applied.
