DUAL SHELL DENTAL APPLIANCE AND MATERIAL CONSTRUCTIONS
Improved dental appliances and polymeric sheet compositions are disclosed. The polymeric sheet compositions are useful for making dental appliances having outer layers comprised of a material having a modulus of from about 1,000 MPA to 2,500 MPA (“hard”) and an inner core comprised of elastomeric material or materials having a modulus of from about 50 MPa to 500 MPa (“soft”), which exhibit improved flexibility and strength, and better stain and tear resistance than currently available materials and dental appliances.
Laminated tissue graft product
A tissue graft product comprising two or more layers of material wherein each layer comprises extracellular matrix (ECM) or polymeric material and wherein the layers are laminated together by interlocking portions of one layer with portions of another layer.
Nonwoven multilayer structures having nanofiber layers
Nonwoven multilayer structures having at least two nanofiber layers are described herein. The nonwoven multilayer structure may have two nanofibers layers that have different properties from each other, such as fiber diameter. One nanofiber layer may be produced by an electrospinning process, while another nanofiber layer may be produced by a melt blown process.
BIOLOGICAL SENSOR
A biological sensor that is to be affixed to a living body and is for acquiring a biological signal includes a cover member; and a porous substrate having a porous structure, the porous substrate being disposed on the cover member on a side of the living body. A sticking layer, including the porous substrate and a first adhesive layer that is disposed on the porous substrate on a side of the living body, exhibits a shear stress of from 5×10.sup.4 N/m.sup.2 to 65×10.sup.4 N/m.sup.2 when the sticking layer is deformed in a direction perpendicular to a thickness direction of the sticking layer by 5% to 15% of a length of the sticking layer. A moisture permeability of the sticking layer is within a range from 65 g/m.sup.2.Math.day to 4000 g/m.sup.2.Math.day.
CONNECTOR ASSEMBLY
The invention relates to a connector assembly, a seam tape, a garment and a method to produce a connector assembly.
PROSTHESIS COSMETIC ELEMENT AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING A MOLDED PART
A prosthesis cosmetic element comprising a main part made of a foam material and a cavity formed in the main part for receiving a prosthesis component, wherein the main part has an outer face facing away from the prosthesis component and an inner face which delimits the cavity, and a textile is secured to the inner face.
SOFT WET PRESSED FACIAL TISSUE
Disclosed are multi-ply tissue products, particularly wet pressed facial tissue products that have been recreped. For example, disclosed are tissue products prepared from wet pressed tissue webs that have been recreped using a print-crepe process that deposits a latex polymer on at least one of the outer surfaces of the tissue web. The tissue products have improved strength and softness, such as a geometric mean tensile strength (GMT) greater than about 1,400 g/3″, a geometric mean tensile energy absorption (GM TEA) of about 20 gocm/cm2 or greater and a TS7 value less than about 16.0. In certain instances, the tissue products also have a low degree of stiffness and a relatively smooth surface, such as a Stiffness Index less than about 8.00 and a TS750 value less than about 20.0.
Laminate and method for its production
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a laminate being excellent in chemical resistance, wear resistance, vibration absorption properties and flame resistance, and having high mechanical strength; and a method for its production. A laminate 1 comprises a fiber-reinforced resin layer 20 which comprises a reinforcing fiber base material and a resin component containing at least 50 vol % of a specific fluororesin, wherein the ratio of the reinforcing fiber base material to the total volume of the reinforcing fiber base material and the resin component is from 0.30 to 0.70, and a specific substrate 10, wherein at least one outermost layer is the fiber-reinforced resin layer 20, and the ratio of the total thickness of the fiber-reinforced resin layer 20 to the total thickness of the substrate 10 is from 1/99 to 30/70.
Multilayer polymer sheets
Multilayer polymer sheets are provided, as well as related methods, systems, and appliances.
NON-STRETCH BONDED STRAND AND FILM ELASTICS
A laminate includes a core structure having a first surface and a second surface, the core structure including an elastic core layer and a plastic core layer, wherein the elastic core layer is one of a film, a plurality of strands, and a plurality of strips, and wherein the plastic core layer is one of a film layer, a plurality of strands, and a plurality of strips, the plastic core structure reinforcing the core layer in the machine direction, and a nonwoven first facing layer affixed to the first surface.
