MICA BASED THREE DIMENSIONAL STRUCTURES
A method for producing a mica paper honeycomb may include providing sheets of partially cured impregnated mica paper, and gluing the sheets along periodic parallel lines to form an unexpanded, partially cured mica paper honeycomb. The unexpanded partially cured mica paper honeycomb may be expanded to obtain an expanded partially cured mica paper honeycomb. The expanded partially cured mica paper honeycomb may be cured to obtain a mica paper honeycomb.
CONTACT ADHESIVES AND USES THEREOF
The present invention provides pre-applied contact adhesives that maintains strong cohesiveness over extended time and varied temperature conditions, while balancing low adhesiveness to other substrates. The pre-applied adhesives are applied onto paperboard, corrugated board, Kraft paper, paper, plastic film, glass, and are suitable as label, package, envelope, carton, case, box, label, bag, multilayer film, foil bag, bottle or band.
Method to manufacture substrate with latent wetting device
A method of manufacturing a substrate configured to be wetted by a device internal to the substrate. The method includes a roll to roll processing method using two different plies to form a substrate incorporating a latent wetting device. The method includes forming a container by creating a vessel in two parts. One part is formed on a bottom ply and another part is formed on a top ply. A wetting agent for wetting the substrates is added to one part of the vessels and the plies and vessel parts are joined using a continuous manufacturing method.
Non-transparent art paper which prevents seepage
A non-transparent paper is described for non-transparent art or graphic design sketches, which prevents seepage of the inks, it accepts any type of gel, water-based, solvent-based, oil-based or mixed inks and solid materials for sketching and drawing, as well as fixatives for the solid materials. This paper consists of a lamination of at least two sheets of uncoated bond paper, inserting at least one intermediate layer of pigmented opacifying emulsion between both sheets, applied between the layers of paper to prevent transparency and the seepage of inks from one face of the lamination to the other. This layer of emulsion contains at least one opacifying pigment, at least one adhesive, agents to control viscosity and surface tension and other components. The outside layers of paper have a drying capacity which fixes the materials used for the sketching and prevent outlines made on one face passing to the adjacent sheets of paper, and also has a texture suitable for receiving any dry material for drawing or sketching.
ADHESIVE-FREE PHOTOPOLYMER LAYER STRUCTURE
The invention relates to a process for producing a layer construction with adhesive-free bonding, to a layer structure comprising an exposed photopolymer layer B and a substrate layer C of (co)polycarbonate, to a sealed optical medium comprising the layer structure, and to an optical display and a security document comprising the sealed optical medium.
Watermark sheet, apparatus, and document, and methods for providing the same
A watermark sheet made up of a substrate layer with opposing water and fiber surfaces, a pattern of at least two watermark indicia, and a set of apertures extending from the water surface toward the fiber surface of the substrate layer, is provided. The pattern of at least two watermark indicia is distributed over a continuous area of the fiber surface. The inventive watermark sheet provides watermarks of improved quality. Also provided is a watermark sleeve made up of a cylinder mold and the inventive watermark sheet wrapped around and affixed to an outer diametric surface of the cylinder mold. In addition, methods of manufacturing the watermark sheet, the watermark sleeve, a watermarked paper and a high security document are provided, as well as products resulting from these methods of manufacture.
Laminating machine
A laminating machine comprises at least one material source, configured as a sheet feeder, for sheets of a material to be laminated. The laminating machine further comprises at least one laminating unit. The laminating machine also comprises at least two lamination sources, each for at least one web-type laminating material. The laminating machine additionally comprises at least one laminating unit for producing a material web, which is laminated on both sides, from the sheets and the respective at least one laminating material. At least one lamination control device is disposed downstream of a laminating region of the laminating unit, along a transportation path provided for the transporting of the laminated material web. The control device monitors a control region, lying outside a transport region that is occupied by the transportation path provided for the laminated material web.
ABSORBENT PAPER PRODUCTS HAVING UNIQUE PHYSICAL STRENGTH PROPERTIES
The present disclosure provides for a paper product. The paper product has: (a) from about 20% to about 90% by weight of the dry fiber basis of the paper product of a refined soft wood pulp fiber mixture, (b) pulp fibers selected from the group consisting of hard wood fibers, non-wood fibers, recycled fibers, synthetic polymer fibers, bleached eucalyptus kraft fibers, and combinations thereof; and, (c) not more than about 10% by weight moisture.
ABSORBENT PAPER PRODUCTS HAVING UNIQUE PHYSICAL STRENGTH PROPERTIES
A differential density paper product comprising at least one paper web is disclosed.
Polyacrylic adhesive for use in tissue paper laminating
The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a multi-ply tissue paper, wherein a first tissue is adhesively bonded to a second tissue using an aqueous, repulpable adhesive composition comprising an alkali soluble acrylic copolymer, The present invention also relates to a multi-ply tissue paper obtained by said manufacturing method.
