Device for laminating a substrate with a thermoplastic coating material
A device for laminating a substrate with a thermoplastic coating material has an IR heating device for melting a surface of the coating material, an opposite cooling apparatus which actively cools the opposite surface of the coating material, and at least one press-roller assembly, which presses together the substrate web and the coating material to produce a hot-melt adhesive bond. In order to prevent any irregularities in the finished product, the cooling apparatus is designed as a rotatably driven cooling roller, over the circumference of which the following are arranged in succession: a feed apparatus for the thermoplastic coating material, one or more IR radiant heaters for heating the surface of the thermoplastic coating material resting on the cooling roller, a feed apparatus for the substrate web, one or more press rollers for pressing the substrate web against the coating material, and a removal apparatus for the laminated product.
Tub liner for infants bathtub
A disposable liner for use with a reusable infant's bathtub. A workable liner may be formed from two parallel flat sheets of plastic film, bonded together around an outside boundary. The liner is disposable in a flat configuration of minimum thickness, and can then be folded to form a space-efficient rectangular package of substantially constant thickness. Certain liners may include a backrest cushion.
JIG
Provided is a jig which assists in the adhesion of a thin-film sheet to an adhesion target surface (skin etc.), and which can easily adhere the thin-film sheet to the adhesion target surface. The jig includes: a base part having a first surface; and a porous hydrophilic film that is adhered to the first surface and has fine pores with a predetermined porosity, wherein the porosity is 35% to 55% inclusive. The hardness of the base part is preferably 4-20 inclusive. In addition, it is preferable that the base part and the hydrophilic film have transparency.
Multi-ply tissue product produced from a single ply tissue web
In general, the present invention is directed to a process for producing multi-ply tissue products from a single ply tissue web and the resulting multi-ply products, which have good softness and strength characteristics. The process of the present invention generally involves producing a first single ply tissue web and then splitting the web into two separate single ply tissue webs that can be converted into a multi-ply web. In certain preferred embodiments the single ply web may be manufactured such that when it is split into two separate webs the two webs are substantially identical.
Smooth and bulky tissue
The present disclosure provides high bulk tissue products, as well as an apparatus and methods for manufacturing the same. The tissue products provided herein not only have high bulk, but they also have improved surface smoothness, particularly compared to tissue products of similar basis weights.
Nonwoven multilayer structures having nanofiber layers
Nonwoven multilayer structures having at least two nanofiber layers are described herein. The nonwoven multilayer structure may have two nanofibers layers that have different properties from each other, such as fiber diameter. One nanofiber layer may be produced by an electrospinning process, while another nanofiber layer may be produced by a melt blown process.
CONNECTOR ASSEMBLY
The invention relates to a connector assembly, a seam tape, a garment and a method to produce a connector assembly.
Multi-ply fibrous structure-containing articles
Articles, for example multi-ply fibrous structure-containing articles such as multi-ply sanitary tissue products, containing two or more fibrous structure plies, and more particularly to multi-ply articles containing two or more fibrous structure plies having a plurality of fibrous elements wherein the articles exhibit improved bulk and absorbent properties compared to known articles and methods for making same, are provided.
SOFT WET PRESSED FACIAL TISSUE
Disclosed are multi-ply tissue products, particularly wet pressed facial tissue products that have been recreped. For example, disclosed are tissue products prepared from wet pressed tissue webs that have been recreped using a print-crepe process that deposits a latex polymer on at least one of the outer surfaces of the tissue web. The tissue products have improved strength and softness, such as a geometric mean tensile strength (GMT) greater than about 1,400 g/3″, a geometric mean tensile energy absorption (GM TEA) of about 20 gocm/cm2 or greater and a TS7 value less than about 16.0. In certain instances, the tissue products also have a low degree of stiffness and a relatively smooth surface, such as a Stiffness Index less than about 8.00 and a TS750 value less than about 20.0.
PLASTIC BARRIER LAMINATE WITH AN AT LEAST PARTIALLY CRYSTALLIZED LAYER AND WITH A PIGMENTED LAYER
A plastic barrier laminate having at least one at least partially crystallized layer containing polyethylene and a nucleating agent, and at least one pigmented layer containing polyethylene and a portion of flake-shaped pigments, wherein the portion of pigments is in the range from 1.5% by weight to 5.0% by weight relative to the weight of the at least one pigmented layer.
